Being from NY, the Pizza Capital of the US I crave good pizza. Not Domino's or Pizza hut or any other chain. But your local dough slinging, fresh meats and cheeses local pizzeria. If it's plain cheese, pepperoni or loaded with toppings, it is one of those things most of us can't live with out. It can also easily be eaten on the run.

LOVE IT! I'm completey hooked on Papa Murphy's take-n-bake. If you don't live in NY or Chicago, you gotta try it. Perfect crust, a gazzillion toppings, 3-4lbs of cheeze. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Not ideal for the low carb, low fat diet!!

Love my pizza, but here's the bias, the pizza I ate on the west coast last year was crap . . . maybe I should reserve my opinion until I eat one in NY. =]

Since living a number of years in Italy, I've been on a quest to find the perfect pizza. The perfect food invented by angles. Forget the national brand crap. No pineapple and other fru fru stuff. It was designed for sauce, meat and cheese, so be it.

Gotta go the the big cities to find good pizza. Not the outside suburbs. Small shops are way better than the big chains. I work in a town about 40 miles away from Chicago. Thank goodness some of the pizza places have branched out here! Giordanos, Nancy's, Geno's East, CiCi's, Chesdan's! I'm hungry.....bye.

Having worked in the 62 Pct in Brooklyn, I can attest that Bensonhurst pizza is the best - however $2? Always "on the arm" pally!

    :o)

P.S. - Chicago pizza - isn't that an oxymoron? Everyone knows that pizza is flat - and only raised around the edges - otherwise it's a cake of dough! Stay safe all!

I also miss the pizza since leaving New York. Lenny and Johns had the best slices and the rice balls were unreal!
