| Description: | The Glock 26 (9mm) is classified by Glock to be a sub-compact pistol for the purpose of concealed carry and sometimes referred to as the "Baby Glock". |
An excellent off duty weapon. Easy to conceal with the right holster and very lightweight. This gun holds 11 rounds, fully loaded.
My duty firearm is a G19 and the G26 is my backup,Its agood firearm ,recoil is controlable even with 127gr.+P+ SXT's,I've tried the G27(40S&W) recoil was alittle sharp and being I carry a 9mm as my primary weapon it would not benefit me to carry a 40S&W..GLOCK makes a fine product maybe they will make a single stack 9mm in the future..
This is a great off duty and back up weapon. I have smaller hands and the 26 fits perfectly. It is easy to conceal and so light weight I barely notice that I am carrying on my ankle on duty. The best part about the 26 is that should my duty weapon ever malfunction and unable to fire the magazines from my 19 can be fired from my 26.
Good secondary or off duty weapon, easy to conceal!
This is a great pistol, I carry it as my back up and off duty. The size plus the magazine capicity allows it to be light weight and dependible for any thing that can come your way
This little guy is a nice carry for those days when I need the lightest weight available. I have been very impressed with this weapon. Whenever people pick on me for carrying this 9mm baby Glock I simply tell them, "Why don't you go over there and put and apple on your head and let me show you what it will do!" I will defend this little guy til the end.
I a great little handgun... I carry it off duty. The hand grip is a little short for my hand, so I added an attachment to the end of the magazine that adds just enough room for my little finger.
Yup This Is My Off Duty Gun!!!! Really Compact,Rapid Fire Too
compact and very reliable
My wifes gun.. Easy to shoot and recoil isnt bad.
This weapon is a great concealment weapon. When I wear it no one knows I have it. I may just be partial to Glocks.
Very nice if you need to have it with no one knowing you have it...glock is outstanding~!!
This gun is great for people with small hands like me. It is easy to carry because of its size.
I carry this pistol as my primary off-duty weapon, it's lightweight, easy to conceal, and packs a comfortable 11rds in a small package. Would recommend this pistol to anyone looking for a small 9mm off-duty weapon.
I have this Glock and I think it is Great!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has not let me down and I enjoy shooting it on the range.once. Once you get use to the grip, it is nice and smooth.
My duty weapon is a Glock 17, and I also have the G26 as my Concealed Carry Weapon, and also, It's a glock, Need I say more?
I carry this weapon where ever I go, "Don't leave home without it"..nice and compact, a great CCW
With the addition of night sghts, it will be all I need.
Wonderful pistol, both as a backup and off duty CCW. Shoots great out of the box, and I shoot it better than the full size 17.
It's so easy to handle and adequately accurate. My wife loves hers.
Love this gun! It's light and accurate and fits a smaller hand. My off duty.
This is my backup and off duty carry weapon, it goes everywhere I do. This little Pistol is a Gem, I have put some work and additional money into mine, but it is lean and mean. My firearms instructor says its close, but he thinks I shoot better with the 26 than I do with my 17. This is money well spent and that I will not have to spend again for many years to come if ever... Stay Safe Out There !!!
I love my Baby Glock. I carry a full size mag in mine. WIth the full size mag, I shoot much better, but I can still conceal the baby with no prob.
IIts not comfy on my anckle. It feels awsome on my belt.
This is my travel companion.
Perfect concealed carry gun, lightweight but can still carry 10 rounds.
Like others have stated, this is a great little gun. I never leave the house with it. If you're looking for a dependable off duty gun that's easy to conceal, take a good long look at the G26.
Good gun, had to put mag extensions cause my hands are to big, but i'm very happy with this gun.
My duty weapon is a G-19, I carry the 26 in my left cargo pocket. The size and weight isn't too far off from the G-19, which has more to hold on to and carries 5 more rounds. Before you buy one of these, see if the 19 will work for you. Its a good gun, but if I had it to do over, I'de carry two G-19's
This has been my off duty weapon for 6 years. Since my hands are fairly small, this weapon is a perfect fit. Very smooth trigger pull always allows me to create a tight shot pattern. Very comfortable & easily concealed.
Yes it is a small gun and I too have added an extention. I've had mine for over 4 years as a back up for it's reliability & concealment. My issued firearm is a S&W 5906.
I want to get one of these for my wife. She has very small hands and slender wrists and I think a small 9mm would be perfect for her. She has held an airsoft G26 and she likes how it feels, so I think it would be alright for her, but I am looking for more input, so if anyone who owns one could PM me or email me at abcbroussard@hotmail.com, I would greatly appreciate it. I personally hate Glocks, they are the only pistol to ever give me slide-bite. 1911 forever.
Firends Mom has this beauty, compact size, minimal recoil make it the ideal Conceal Carry Weapon. No external safeties to get in the way. I plan to carry when i turn 21.
The Glock 27 same designed at 26 but is the 40cal version. Don't go anywhere without it while off duty
Well, heck, I don't know how I missed this review.
My 'Baby Glock' is fine shooter but not a tack driver. Excellent for CQB. Once you master the sear reset (and that's fairly fast), you're in business.
If you are considering buying one, look at magazine extensions. Although I don't have a hand the size of Sasquatch, my mag extensions provide the added foundation to establish a firm four-finger grip.
Carry the model 26 as an off duty weapon. Very easy to conceal. Very accurate on the range when qualifying.
A wonderful concealed carry. I never leave home without it:)
I carried the Glock 26 for my primary duty weapon for 4 years while working narcotics. Many of our plain clothes detectives carry this firearm because of the size and accuracy of the gun. I was surprised to see the accuracy when I first shot it... expecting that it would be difficult to control... defiantely not the case. Great gun for plain clothes and off-duty.
I've carried the Glock 26 off duty since 1992 and no carry it in retirement! Excellent firearm. I bet I've fired 5,000 rounds through it and have never had a stoppage. I do have the mag extension for easier grip!
Can't go wrong with a Glock...wish it were my duty weapon! Unfortunately some officers can't be trusted with them:(
Great off duty weapon. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the stock sights, but I just slapped some tijicon night sights on there.
I have rotated between carrying a Sig 229 and a Glock 23 for about 8 years now. I considered a weapon from either manufacturer for off duty and decided on the Glock. It is Glock versatility in a compact size. Recoil is limited and accuracy and dependability is consistent with Glock quality.
Reliable gun never jammed, although uncomfortable to conceal because of it's with, is not comfortable in the hand.
Nice back-up or off-duty gun. Pretty accurate for a sub-compact.
Great ankle gun. Love the size of it!
Excellent off duty gun. Small enough to conceal but not to small to hold or use. Also comes with an extended clip to hold morte rounds and extend the handle. Very durable and reliable. Must have for any officer.
I carry it off-duty. Added a magazine extention and larger thumb release. My dept. makes us add the "Miami Barrel" for identification or else you can't carry it.
I love this gun, I carry it as my off-Duty firearm, pound for pound this is the BEST sub-compact ever made.
I like how it shoots, but with little hands it hard to have gun control
Nice for concealed carry, good for ankle or waistband. I invested in the +2 mags not just for the extra capacity but more so for the grip extension since without it my pnky tends to hang off the bottom; just more comfortable.
Perfect off duty weapon. Easy to conceal.
Great back up or off duty. My wife handles it well also.
This little gun is a a winner! Very good recoil; even with: +P loads...
I've carried mine everywhere; some say that with large hands (like mine) it's hard to control a G-26 but, I carry mine with no magazine extentions in a Fobus Roto-Paddle holster and, in a forward, strong-side cant; my G-26 is always there for me and, shoots consistantly tight groups. I also like the fact that with a longer match barrel slipped in and, a medium sized magazine I have a nice larger size/capacity weapon without having to purchase the next larger Glock.
I did have an issue with a need for a larger caliber of ammunition but; alas, I don't make those decisions; however, just upgrading to hotter Corbons is all this baby needed to perform like my 40.
Great backup weapon, its always on my ankle. This weapon is just as accurate as its bigger brothers.
Best off-duty weapon I have ever owned - light and easy to maintain. Since I retired I carry this weapon most of the time.
Love this weapon, shoots great and conceals nicely
Very easy to conceal and shots well.
This is a great gun. I also have a smith and wesson but this is actually more accurate. I love glock, i'm sorry but this is just a great gun. If your hands are really big then you may want extensions but i'm lucky be able to fit this grip perfect.
I carry both the 22 and the 26 and i like both of them. they are both very very reliable. i like the 26 when i carry concealed.
Oopps! I clicked on the wrong glock!
Purchased my second Glock in 2 months. Bought this one to wear with T-shidrts and stuff. Great gun. In additon, I bought the mag extender. Well worth the money!!
GOOD FOR A BACK-UP
