This scope in Gen III is like looking at things in the daytime. It is crystal clear compared to Gen I binocs or scopes. Esp. the cheap ones made in Russia. But even those should be avail. to all LE officers. I use mine to view wildlife, check for prowlers, and I never knew there were that many stars and planets in the sky. A department could not go wrong acquiring one of these.
This model is a bit cheaper than the Mil spec. mods. that they have.
