This is my first backup weapon. I purchased this weapon when I was first assigned to narcotics in 2000 mainly because it was cheaper than a Smith and Wesson. After firing the weapon and firing several S & W's I was happy that I saved the money and bought the Taurus. This weapon has NEVER malfunctioned and is extremely accurate at its intended range. The ported barrell is also a plus.
