Looks like this one will be a real winner in pocket pistols!

My Glock 23 with a lasermax is just a dandy weapon. However, the LCP will replace it as my everyday carry piece. (Thus far..) It is reliable as hell and a bit larger than a cell phone. I may just put a dab of red paint on the front sight and maybe a lasermax on this when they make one. Whatever ammo I run works just fine. The remington golden sabre in 102 gr is just the perfect ammo for this baby. Right out of the box, at 10 and 25 feet, the groupings were just astonishing. The trigger is a little different feel than the kel-tek. I have rather large hands, and I feared it would jump out of my grip after a few rounds. But I was able to keep good control after about 10 clips of 6 rounds within minutes. I'll probably get a few extended clips when they come out. I like the slide lock. The only flaw I see is that the slide doesn't remain open after the last round is fired,
Finally, a pocket pistol that will fit in my tux !
    Get one before you can't!

This is a great little back up and conceal carry gun. A small gun in your pocket is worth more to you than a $1000 1911 you leave in the glove box because it is too heavy for summer wear.

I just picked this baby up yesterday (7/17/208) - great little, but powerful pocket weapon. I highly recommend this if you can get one.

I put around a hundred rounds through the LCP - no problems what so ever - the only thing that was expexted is the obvious size. My hands being very big are a bit uncomfortable. I'll get the extension for the mag and go from there. Then again this is for a quick use as a CCW.

I am a big fan of 380's and own and owned many (church gun). The LCP is a great little gun as a back up and off duty carry. Kel-Tec should be feeling the pressures.

Finally... I am not having to choose when and where I carry (CCW) now. I carry all the time, everywhere. Just got it, so I have not made up my mind whether I will qualify with department for back up weapon.

Great for very close range without laser sight. I added Crimson Trace site and is now perfect quick draw carry weapon at any reasonable distance.

Drawbacks- I have large hands so a bit uncomfortable. Sort of cumbersome to go from safe finger to trigger finger. Also, it has a very loooooong trigger pull. But since it does not have a safety, I prefer long pull.

If you can find one, buy it.

Have had mine for about 2 months. Carry it in my left rear pocket as a back-up with an extra mag. Never even realize its there and has suprised two gang members so far. Slightly larger than my old back-up (Walther TPH) but it's a .380!! And It's a Ruger, what more can be said?
