Founded by Steve Ells in 1993, the restaurant is known for its chunky guacamole and large burritos. Chipotle is one of the first successful chains in the relatively new category of fast-casual dining establishments. In the past, McDonald's Corporation owned a majority interest in Chipotle. McDonald's has since sold their entire stake in Chipotle; full divestment was completed in October of 2006. |

Steak burrito with black beans, sour cream, corn, salsa, lettuce and of course....guacamole! Always a good lunch or dinner! Each burrito has about 1000 calories in it, but it is well worth it!

Love the burrito bowl and fajita bowl. My daughter got me hooked on Chipotle. The cilantro in the rice is devine! Washed down with a Corona, when not working ;-) MMMMMGOOD.

I got started on these when I lived in Ft Worth, Texas with my sister, her husband introduced her then, her me. When they opened up in the west valley of phoenix I died and went to heaven, its fast if they're not busy, food is fresh the pico de gallo (aka mild sauce) is brilliant! If I could afford it I'd go a couple times a week.

Favorite fast food ever. I eat here 2-3 times a week and I don't gain weight. Excellent Mexican food. I get the chicken soft tacos or the vegeterian burrito. I also get some chips and slather them with Chipolte tabasco sauce.
