THIS STUFF KEEPS YOU AWAKE & ALERT!!!

This is Good Stuff!! I work 3rd shift also and I take it when I'm in need of a "pep up" or energy." It's like prescriptive speed! :) It's NOT supposed to be taken in place of sleep, but more for alertness. For me, one pill seems to last approximately 8hrs. Important information to know before taking this medication:

**You should not use this medication if you are allergic to modafinil or armodafanil (Nuvigil).
Before using Provigil, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have:**

angina (chest pain);
cirrhosis or other liver problem;
kidney disease;
a heart muscle or valve disorder such as mitral valve prolapse;
a history of drug addiction;
if you take blood pressure medications; or
if you have recently had a heart attack.

Provigil is great! All the benefits and none of the negative side effects from an amphetamine. Thank god I have insurance, because at 306 bucks for 30-200mg tabs they are spendy. Definitely worth it if you can get the doc to go for it.

I am only 16 and have been on Provigil since the age of 14. Before using Provigil my sleep schedule was all wack, I was sleeping from when i got home from school at 2:30 to the next morning at 6:30am. If not on this medication i would be falling asleep during classes and not being able to be the active teen I am today.
