I have had mine for 2 years and I used it when I worked armed security. Lightweight and never failed me. I have put at least 5,000 rounds through it with only one malfunction
I like mine, not alot more to say.
I have the A4 Flat top mid lenth with the Vortex Flash Hider. Not a Single FTF or FTE in 2k rounds. great gun, light and easy to customize.
This is my rifle there are many like it but this one is MINE. I love this rifle its great.
A2 with EOTECH, TRL1, and too many other upgrades to list... love it... I couldn't imagine heading to an active shooter call without it.
I have a slightly different version, the Tactical CAR UTE 2. Flat top with fixed rear and front sights that co-witness beautifully with optics. I like the fixed sights as opposed to the flip-up BUIS. In my humble opinion, two less movable parts that Mr. Murphy can get his grubby hands on. Can't speak highly enough of the quality of Rock River products!
almost as good as DPMS
very good weapon i use it for work all the time and went out and got one for myself
Great gun, fun to shoot, also serves its purpose correctly.
I also have the LAR-15. Both superior weapons. When you have to travel with long guns, you take one you trust!
I bought the mid-length carbine, heavy full length barrel, 2 stage wilson trigger, cant beat the quality, price, another Deputy bought another name brand, he paid twice what i paid for my Rock River.
Just got them at our department..................been firing them for a while in my military unit. Alot nicer then M16A2. More compact and easier in close quarters.
I really like the compacked size, this rifle is very versitile. It is great for building searches with a optional L.E.D light attached
Best .223 for your money, I never had an issue with the weapon, but did have some trouble with some no name magazines causing it to jam. When I got rid of those I got rid of the jams. Great gun I love it. In tactical situations, or just thrown rounds down range you'll never regret buying it.
Awesome. No complaints whatsoever. I liked mine even more after adding a EOTech sighting system. Big thanks to our guys at our armory for this rifle.
i love mine!!! eo tech sight mounted, with gear sector single point sling.
I love mine, I probly have about 4k rounds through it. Hopefully will have about 2k more through it this year.
I used to sell a lot of these back in my gun store days. Best bang for your buck if you are not a die hard fan of another brand. Rock River meets or exceeds military standards and currently has a notewrothy contract with the DEA. They have excellent customer service and you can get what you want factory installed (some items at no additional cost) so you are ready to go when you pick it up. Accuracy and trigger mechanisms are excellent for those who are little more stringent on those qualities. Very competitively priced, you can't go wrong.
I love my RRA Elite A-4 carbine. Rock River makes great weapons and the quality is very good. The only downside is that they haven't gone to a piston gas system yet, but it's only a matter of time......
RRA Elite M-4 with medium handguards Sitting in a Eagle Assault case with a Viking V-Tac sling. On top sits regular iron sights with an EoTech 522. It has the most smoothest triggers I have ever felt on a stock AR. I took it hunting last fall & on doe day, I hit a small doe on a flat out sprint / run- Three in the box, one in the shoulder & one miss using this EoTech & rifle.
It is a very well made firearm, I own one and my agency has several but it does not hold groups as tight as my Bushmaster or Colt. With the Colt I am sub MOA at 100 yds, MOA with the Bushmaster and very slightly above MOA with the Rock River. Besides this little issue the rifle is outstanding and has not sufferred a malfunction in just under 6,000 rounds of ammo on the range over the last two years.
This weapon was just added to our department inventory, replacing the crap Ruger mini-14's we were carrying. Since I also use this weapon in the Army, I've been quite happy with its performance, durability and ease-of-use. Well worth buying...
"Awsome Weapon"
Easy to shoot and incredibly accurate up to at least 300 meters. It is easy to carry as long as you need to carry it because it is also light. Anyone who has ever shot the military M-16 will take to this weapon immediately and enjoy shooting it as well. The only negative in the civilian model is the lack of a three shot burst, but that could be a bad thing in many circumstances anyway! Glad I have one.
great shooter,
I USED THIS ON ACTIVE DUTY THIS WEAPON NEVER FAILS
Damn good patrol carbine. Though I prefer the .308cal for it's barrier penitration and it's stopping power, the .223cal does have a reputation of excellent accuracy and serves the needs of a patrol carbine round well. Rock River also makes a very good quailty product.
I use the Colt M4. I think its awesome if anyone remembers using the M16A2. That thing is heavy the recoil kicks like a shotgun and is a pain to clean. The M4 on the other hand is great. Collapsable stock, you can add rails to attach lazer sight, night vision accessories, and a fore grip for CQB.
Don't leave the station without it!
This lets me even the playing field with Ak totin gang bangers and armor wearing bank robbers. 150 rounds of pure law enforcement life defending protection. Need I say more?
I have carried one for years, and I have never experienced anything other than relentless reliabilty and performance!
not the best but it will sure stop someone not very acurate in in the sand in iraq
very light weight and heavy fire power
