Québec City (Canada) bought 2 vehicles to patrol the port during the festivity of the 400 birthday of the city
i hate riding this solw and ive roled it twice
LOOKS like fun but the cost will keep our Department for buying one anytime soon.
This is one awesome vehicle!
WE HAVE 7 OF THEM GREAT WAY TO GET AROUND AND IT BEATS WALKING !! GREAT FOR SMALL BEAT AREAS AND C.O.P.S.
Boring. Not Worth The Price.
Ok, I just test drove one the other day during a demo T3 was doing for our department. I liked it alot. Very fun but the batteries wore out in a few hours and if it were kept at its top speed of 20 mph they die in just one hour. Plus terrain and weight also determine how fast it dies. All in all still pretty fun. Oh, you can get extra batteries and they don't have a memory so they can be charged at any level. If I'm still here in a few months I'll be riding them around. The price listed say 20 Gs but they told us they sell for just under 9 Gs. They did say the price was going up in 2009 so who knows. I'd get one if they were selling to the general populous. They may be doing that in about 2 years but not right now.
I demoed this product today in a campus police enviroment. This product was a little different to the normal foot patrol and vehicle patrols I'm used to. However it gives an officer the advantage in a parkinglot to see over cars and see 360 degress something a patrol car does not offer. It cruised at about 18 to 20 miles an hour giving me an speed advantage to respond to emergency. This product will go anywhere turn on a dime and turns some heads. This would be a great tool for small campuses and will be great for PR. Like the product hope we buy one.
