A complex combination of hops and malts and at a delightful 7.2% alcohol content, this is one bad mother. Here is how Stone describes this beer themselves: This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory - maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthing your words as you read this.

    A very hoppy beer. Absolutely awesome! Strong, bitey, and very tasty. Can't go wrong with any of Stone Brewing Company's brews.

    One of my favorite beers! Tastes great and no one is gonna try and mooch off you. drink two and your good for a while, and its brewed in the great state of California. DRINK RESPONSIBLY

    #1 in my book, replacing Alimony Ale by Buffalo Bill's Brewery (1082 B St., Hayward, CA - but that's just a guess....). The Bastard can be gotten here in Colorado - Alimony can't....
