One star is too much - don't waste your time with this company. Thier pistols have a tendency to stove-pipe and/or jam. If you enjoy function drills, this is your weapon. If you have a complaint, good luck with your dealings with the company. They do an excellent job of showing how much they don't care.

I have this para and keep it as a backup. I also carry off duty a Para P-14. Neither one has ever failed to feed. If I could carry as my duty weapon I would not hesitate to carry the P-14. Good shooting pistol and the accuracy is great. It has a very sweet trigger pull each and every time. Next to my STI Eagle, 2011 and my very good Kimber's it's a close shooting one. It has all of the safety's needed and then some. It's like shooting cocked and locked and it just doesn't get better than a great 1911.

I have owned a P10-45 for about 2 years and I carry it as a back up. I shoot it almost regularly and have never had any problems with it. Its a high capacity compact that packs a punch.

I have 45 LDA, love the trigger and action. It will feed anything that I put in the mag without failure. Easy to conceal due to its flat shape. Without tuning I have gotten excellent accuracy with it. The only problem I have found is lower receiver is a steel alloy and I carry all the time the metal oxidizes easyily

I have the original P-14 LDA I love this weapon. I have never in the 10 yrs I've owned this weapon had a jam or a stove pipe. My LDA has digested over 50,000 rnds in its life time and has never failed me once. I have over 18yrs as A LOE and 21 1/2 years in the military (only 8 active the rest Nat. Grd. 2 tours in Iraq) I have special ops training and have been a Master firearms instructor for over 12 yrs. This weapon is a number 1. I wished I could have had it with me in Iraq. Also remember it hold 15 rounds of kick butt 45 ammo.

I owned a P10-45 and loved it. High-capacity .45; you can never go wrong with that combo. It's a hefty pistol which absorbs more of the recoil than you'd expect. I've never had a jam of any sort and I fired thousands of rounds through it.

I HAVE HAD MY P10 FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS, I HAD ALL THE INTERNAL EDGES FILED LIGHTLY WHEN I FIRST GOT IT AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT SINCE. I HAS THE CAPACITY I WANT AND PACKS A LOT OF PUNCH. MAKES AN AWESOME BACK UP OR CC WEAPON.

Of all the 1911-style pistols I have fired, this is my favorite. Accurate, reliable and user friendly. Para-Ord took greatness and and made it greater.

I have had the Alloy P-14 for almost a decade and carry it as my primary off duty weapon and has never failed, mis-fired, stove-piped, etc. it is 100% bone stock.

I used to carry a Colt 1911 as my on-duty sidearm before I retired and love the way these guns shoot. Being able to carry one that holds 15 rounds (14+1) and an additional 14 in a spare mag, the peace of mind, combined with the great out-of-the-box accuracy makes it the perfect weapon for me. I am planning on buying a new "Big Hawg" in the next couple months and retire my older P-14 to range use only.

I carry the compact .45 and fired close to a thousand rounds through it. I love it and feel very comfortable with it. Highly recommend it! Only gripe is the color/finish has "rubbed off" quite abit. I carry it in an Uncle Mike's waist band holster.

I carry the Stainless Steel 1911. I think it is the RS1995X or something like that. It is the Nite Tac double action. I love it. It is to nice to carry all the time so i use my Glock most of the time.

I carry a Para 1911 as an off duty weapon. It is one of my favorite weapons. There is no doubt in its acuaracy or reliability. 1911 is one of the best frames ever made and Para does a great job with it.

I have an officer that has carried his for many years. He consitantly out shoots others at the range with his Para. Para is not as good as a Kimber, but I have never seen one fail because of the gun. Any time I have seen one fail, it is user caused, like Limp wristing the gun, or properly maintaining the gun.

At my last department this was the weapon issued i had no trouble with my weapon and it functioned excellently at all times. The only problems that we ran into was using an after market mag the spring would hang and not push the round to the top but other thatn that and DONT use cheap ammo cause it woudl jam about every other shot.
