I was considering buying a Mossberg 500. Another cop pointed out that the 500/590 was the shotgun that the US Navy used. If 10,000 sailors can’t break them, then they are pretty tough. I bought it and I haven’t broken it yet. Look at Iraq & Afghanistan; there are Mossberg shotguns in every picture that you see of our service people in combat.

I have owned this weapon for years. Rock solid and reliable,short but stocky with 9 rounds of pure persuasion!! And a bayonet if needed.

Easy to handle, easy to transport. *Fits well underneath or beside the seat of your vehicle, cruiser or POV.
Carry WITHOUT one in the pipe for added safety; it only takes a split second to load a round from the magazine, and usually just the sound of "racking one up" is persuasive enough to prevent a situation from escalating...

Tough gun with flawless performance. Pistol grip is easy to handle and reloads are effortless.

Love the compact design with the pistol grip. Great home defense. I would put a light on the end. Mossberg is a good gun. But, I prefer a Remington. Rem 870.

I have one. Its pretty. It looks MEAN and manly. I also have a Remington 870. I prefere the 870. To me, it just feels better and shoots better.

This is the finest close in combat weapon since the entrenching tool was invented. Its compact for tight corners and room to room with more than enough power to finish what you start. I have one and love it.
