Description:

Made entirely in the Custom Shop, CDP pistols combine Kimber's most popular concealed carry features into the package that gave them their name. Adding these features during the manufacturing process reduces their retail cost by over $500, giving CDP pistols their incredible value. CDP pistols are easy to carry because their 7075-T7 aluminum frames are lightweight, up to seven ounces less than steel frames but every bit as strong and dependable. Slides are machined from solid stainless steel and given a satin finish that will not reflect light. Possibly the best feature is the carry bevel treatment. All edges of the pistol are rounded and blended by hand, leaving no sharp corners to catch clothing or dig into a holster. All CDP barrels and chambers are match grade for accuracy. Breech faces are polished and ejection ports are lowered and flared for reliable function. Magazine wells are beveled and magazine release buttons extended for fast reloading. Low profile three dot (green) night sights are quick to target even in dim light. Positive 30 lines-per-inch checkering on the frontstrap and trigger guard belly lock the pistol in your hand. Extended ambidextrous thumb safety, checkered flat mainspring housing, and match grade Premium Aluminum Trigger are all included. DETAILED SPECS: Caliber: .45 ACP Features: Entirely built in the Custom Shop for enhanced concealed carry. Carry melt treatment rounds and blends edges to avoid snagging on clothing or holsters. Blackened aluminum frame with 30 lines-per-inch checkering contrasts with the premium aluminum trigger, stainless steel slide and satin ambidextrous thumb safety. Hand-checkered, double-diamond rosewood grips and low profile Tritium night sights finish these elegant carry pistols. This is by far the tightest, most accurate 1911 pistol I have ever fired. Right out of the box, this weapon worked flawlessly. With all of its custom features as standard, there was nothing to modify or adjust. It is extremely light and very controlable. It has digested all carry ammo I have put thru it. It is a little finicky on the frangible range bullets we use to qualify, but any other hollow-point, round nose, hot load or standard load gives it no problem. A top-shelf weapon.

Extremely accurate out of the box. You really have something in your hand when you hold this piece. Does have problems (stove pipes) if you try using reloads for practice and qual. 9Small dept. and funds were LLOOWW. Golden Saber rounds shoot very well. Easy disassembly for cleaning. Little recoil easy mag release access. Carry a kimber as backup also. GREAT WEAPON well worth the money you spend.

Excellent pistol. Mine functions flawlessly with all different types of ammo. It is my primary off duty weapon. Shooting off a bench at 25 yards it performed with a ¾ inch group. I would recommend this pistol to anyone.

Do you remember the first car you ever bought? Well think of that and then think of the first date you had in that car. Am I setting the mood for you at all? I will remember this experience for the rest of my life.

I have this model's great great grandfather. It is my primary off duty weapon smaller than my g-27. .45 ACP do I need to say more? I've fired several hundred rounds, not as much or as freuquent either and each time..... Bull's eye. Havn't had ANY malfunctions....

This gun is an absolute dream!!!! I love this gun and shoot it all the time. I have no other gun in my safe that can even come remotely close to being as accurate. It boasts a hefty price but I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for.

With the exception of my wife and dog this is one of the things I love most in my life. It is probably the greatest weapons I have ever owned!

This gun is small enough to hide anywere, consistant trigger pull unlike my single/duble USP I were on my duty belt. If I could just keep my wife away from it. LOL

Had one for a period, wish I would have never sold it. But partner needed it cheap since he needed small gun for wife. Then he promtly sold it for more then I sold it to him for. Learned my lesson, don't always jump to help a partner all the time.
