Excellent vest. The BBS system is great. I have worn "look-a-likes" for several years, but finally glad to have a vest which was designed for LE use. Great for off-duty, except that Blackwater and other groups have pretty much identified this vest to the world as "cop-wear".

i have this vest for work and it works great but everyone knows who you are when you have it on. there is lots of room to put anything yon can think of in it and the bbs is great but if you are protecting someone that does not want everyone to know they are being protected then you may want to think of something else

You might as well wear a uniform if you are gonna wear this vest....everyone pretty much knows ur a the poe poe or a news journalist if you have this thing on...

Great organizer, but (like the pants) the black soon faded despite carefully following the washing instructions, and it soon looked too worn to wear for 'duty' roles

I use this vest almost every day. Good cover up. Hold a lot of equipment.

Outfitted a large dignitary protection unit with these vests. More durable than any others we tested. Also sent these to Afghanistan when the war first started. Alll my operators there had at least 3 of them for daily wear.

Does it come in ACU digital?

I have my vest from when 5.11 was known a Royal Robbins. Pockets hold a lot and the vest covers what needs to be covered when off the clock. Also has hidden area where you can velcro a holster down.

This is a great vest, though, as my father-in-law calls it, it's definitely a shoot-me-first vest. it's comfortable and wears nicley, even when it's heavily loaded down. i wore it almost daily when i worked as a range master, and it never got old.
