I used this exact model working as a mechanic. It is very durable and extremely bright. The version I have has the piggyback battery setup, which is handy if use is extended beyond about 45 minutes. The only issue I have had is the poly lens tends to spider crack with age and a lot of use mixed with the high heat the bulb is capable of producing. Upside, you may be able to use it to get a suntan.

I love this little light, I have carried it for over 10 years now, I have given many of them as gifts and now issue them to the officers on my security staff at the hospital

I have had this product for almost 2 years. I love this light. My favorite part is the tail cap switch, this provides excellent ability to use in tactical entry situations and everyday use.

I have used this flashlight for the past 4 years, either as a primary light or as a backup light. A very good light.

This is the best flashlight out there, by far. Its rechargeable, bright as hell giving a cop a good intimidation/control tool with suspects, is comfortable as a weapon light in an officer's secondary hand. The only downside id the holster for it, not the light itself. It fits a bit snug and took both hands to get it out for a bit. I recommend this light to everyone!

I like this light. It is very light to carry and very bright. I have had an issue with the screws that rest on the charger tit. The screw came loose and would not charge. I did not realize what had happened and took it to an authorized streamlight repair shop. After looking at the light for 10 seconds the repair tech proclaimed nothing wrong with the light. I took the light home and, after tinkering with it for about half an hour, figured out the screw was loose and tightened it. I check the screws often and tighten if necessary.

It has a brilliant beam, and the LED lasts a long time on one charge, but the switch went out and I had to send it back for a replacement. It works great when it works.

Absolutely top notch flashlight. Even brighter than my full sized ultra-stinger. Amazing battery life and just an all around tough, extremely bright flashlight.
I try to always pack this thing with me at night, and am never disappointed by its brightness, and the fact that it is very small in relation to the amount of light it puts out.
My next goal is to try out the LED version of this flashlight, if it's better than I know what my next purchase is!

It's not as good as my three surefire lights but hey this one didn't cost me a thing (dept issue). After carring my surefire for so many years I became spoiled. However if you don't like spending money on batteries than this light is great. Has come in handy for searches when you don't need a strong blast of light and need a battery to last more than 20 min.

This light is bright and effective at night and in low light situations. I have the poly version. I have dropped it on concrete, hit the car with it, etc.....it still turns on every time. My only hang up is the fact that it looses a charge too quickly. I have a charger mounted in the car, which eliminates any issues.

I have found this to be the most reliable and comfortable flashlight I have used in over 39 years as an LEO. The battery pack lasts longer than any other rechargable flashlight I have owned. The additional car charger is a godsend when working after a severe storm or hurricane and the power is out. Others on my department had to leave their flashlights at the station (which has emergency power) in order to charge them. When my batteries were low - I just plugged in the car lighter charger and was good to go. The size belies the brightness of the light. In adddition, the light's focus can be easily varied between broad area ligh and tight spotlight. All-in-all a worthwhile investment!

I've used mine for about 3 years so far and the only flaw is placing the light into the charging clip it might be just mine but i usually have to wiggle the light around to get the charging dimples to connect to the base. Other then that it can fit in a pocket well and is bright. The thumb button works well even with gloves on . a good between light bigger then a mini-mag and smaller then a regular mag

Very bright light; the one problem I have with it is kinda weird: the flashlight won't recharge in the charger, but the charger will charge other lights, and my flashlight will recharge in other chargers. Totally weird, but true!

I've had mine for about 5 years. I need new batteries( they aren't holding a charge very long), but the light itself is worth every penny. I used for nearly 2 years as a primary light source , which was always on my belt. I have dropped it, it's been runover, submerged, and lost in the snow for 2 days. It hasn't failed to light yet. The tail cap switch is great, especially on the range during night fire.

great light bright enough for most situations. holds a charge for a long time and a very tough light. The only bad thing I can say about it... is there is very little warning when the battery is going to die, but if you charge it on a regular basis you wont have a problem.

Is there any other flashlight than a Streamlight Stinger?? Great product, light, durable, lasts forever. I've had mine for 7 years, the rubber has peeled off the button, the paint has slowly been scraped away, the lense is dull and scratched, BUT its still as reliable and useful today as the day I took it out of the box. Holds up great. The only flashlight you will ever need.
