| Description: | it's a great gun for the price. |
cause i have had this gun sense i was 21 and could own a handgun and i know i have ran thousands of rounds through it no problems out of it yet.very easy to clean and maintain so as far as i can say it is getting the bang for your buck.
This is my preferred carry pistol and what I toted when Off duty. The .40 cal gives you almost the same terminal ballistics as .45ACP with the size of a compact 9mm and the magazine capacity of the wonder-nines... mated with the Glock22 15 round magazines it's liteweight and relaible choice.
Dependable and accurate, and compact for off duty carry.
This is my duty weapon, and I love it. It is dependable, accurate, won't trade it for the world.
I carry this weapon on and off duty. It's accurate and dependable. I've put a few thousand rounds through it and haven't had any problems.
I really like the Glock 23 i used to be extrmely reluctent to by a glock cause i have little hands and most glocks are just to large for me to hold comfertably, but this firearm is awsome it is what i carry on duty and it great to no that i have some great firepower if i need it, word to the wise it takes a little time to shoot this weapon well if you have or use the xd cause the shoot so differently, but it is a great weapon once you learn how to use it effectivly
I got my hands on one of these gems at a shooting range this past friday. The recoil is a little strong i think, but i will learn to deal with that ( want to try a comped model) But it was great, good accuracy even with the recoil. When i turn 21 this will probably be my first purchase.
I am happy with my Glock 23. I use to carry a Sig P226.
I carried a 22C on patrol but now, being in detectives and wanting a more concealable weapon, this an excellant firearm. It has the same Glock user friendliness just in a smaller frame and is still manageable for someone with larger hands. I keep the 40 caliber round and although it is an issued weapon, if i were going to buy a gun, it is a great gun economically as well. There is no down side to owning and using this weapon. I recommend it highly! Peace, Ice
Dependable! Accurate! Easy to carry.
I am a sig guy, own two and carry one at work. But the off duty that I was carrying was a Sig SAS P229. Got nice gun but scratches easy. I had shot a Glock before so I tried this one out. compared to the Sig which has more weight to it this thing kicks like a mule!! I put a mag through the Sig, holstered and pulled the G23 out. DAMN it was like shooting my .357Mag but after the initial surprise I got used to the kick. This thing feels like an extension of my arm. It shoots so smooth and is perfect on target as fast as you can squeeze the trigger this thing is putting lead to target. I just can't get over how well it shoots. This my off duty weapon and I now carry it every where with me.
