The security and usability of this safe his terrific. However, the foam on the "ceiling" of this safe has never stayed in place in mine. This is more of an annoyance than anything and doesn't impact the true purpose of the safe (keeping unwanted persons - perps and children - from gaining access). But, if I'm not extra careful when reaching into it the top of my hand gets scraped up.

GOOD SAFE WITH QUICK ACCESS FOR THE BEDROOM WILL KEEP GUN IN SAFE LOCATION AWAY FROM KIDS. NEEDS TO BE BOLTED TO SOMETHING. i HAVE HAD THIS SAFE FOR THREE YEARS AND IT IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT. GOOD SAFETY FEATURES. aLSO HAS A TAMPER ALARM.

This is a very nice safe, you can open it either by fingertip code..or by key. I would suggest for someone that needs to get into it in the middle of the night and fast- use the key. I would not want to try to be half awake and try to get in with the fingertips code fast when I really need it. That is not to say that it can not be done, I am sure that it can- I am just the type of person that thinks ahead...Just in case.

My pops owns one of these. I like it. Really nice and decent accessiblility when needed in a hurry. The bad side is, the code beeps when you enter your code. So, if you need your pistol in a hurry without alerting someone, you cannot rely on being quiet with this thing.

Fantastic safe, quick and easy to use. I like the larger size since I can store a full size pistol, 50 round box of ammo, and a couple spare mags. The beep is annoying, but I can overlook it.

Not bad but they could have made it bigger or even add slots made just for handguns, to seperate them from other things you might put in there.

I have one bolted on its side in my closet. The beeping is pretty muffled because of the clothing. I keep all 3 handguns in there.

Easy to access and quickly. Works great in the dark and is not too pricey.

I learned about these safes during my concealed weapons class at ACSO. I found one for $89.00 in my area. I live with a friend whose daughter is a curious 2 year old and I believe this to provide safety from her accessing my weapon and conveneince for me if the need arises for me to access my firearm.

Nice safe! I have had this safe for many many years now. I carry this in our MotorCoach and it very secure for those times when people come into the bus to do work on it. I have it mounted in a closet so the touch/feel opening device is nice to where you dont have to actually look at it to access it. But...beware, dont have a senior moment and forget your access code! heehee

I anchored mine to the side of the wall on top of the closet shelf. I wasn't convinced that was sturdy enough so I drilled two holes through the bottom of the safe and through the shelf. I used 1/2" carriage bolts and secured it to the shelf itself with some big old fender washers in between. The shelf itself is anchored pretty well. Bottom line is if a burglar wants it he is up for a pretty good challange. I have a 550 lb long gun safe coming as so as I get the money saved up. These minis are the way to go starting out though... especially if you have kids!

Excellent product. Keypad is functional. Alarm is loud.

I have two of these vaults. One is just duty pistols, the other has pistols used for other uses. I am going to get the new long Gunvault.

Nice to have in the home for duty weapons.

Any gun vault is nice to have. There are so many now but as long as they serve the purpose, they are worth the money.

This is another great vault I picked up on eBay for half the listed price.
