| Description: | Hinged design to further restrict movement. Has double lock slot configuration for increased security. Smith & Wesson Handcuffs are fabricated from the finest quality carbon or stainless steel. They are manufactured with heat treated internal lockworks, featuring smooth ratchets for swift cuffing and double locks to prevent tampering. All S&W handcuffs meet or exceed demanding U.S. National Institute of Justice tests for workmanship, strength, corrosion and tamper resistance. |
Love the hinged effect especially Smith & Wesson being known for their reputation in restraints. Once placed on the suspect he cant move his hands as much and restricts the swisting of the wrists.
good.
I like the black better than the silver.
I'll use nothing but Smith and Wesson! I bought my first pair of S&W standard chain restraints when I was 18, almost 10 years ago, and have used them literally, hundreds of times. Now I use them at least 15-20 times a day in a segregation unit at my facility and they're still going strong. Just bought a pair of the M300's and they feel just as smooth and solid as my original pair of M100's and they're much better to use on high risk offenders due to the better amount of control you have.
I recently switched to these cuffs from Peerless hinged cuffs. I actually had a prisoner break the hinges on the Peerless cuffs, which were later found to have no manufacturing defect. The Smith cuffs have a more solid hinge design. The only thing keeping them from a 5 star rating is the limit on the size of the wrist that can be effectively cuffed.
I use these and refer to them as my knuckle head cuffs. You want to be a knuckle head you get to wear these
Haven't had these cuffs very long yet but really like them so far. Switched from the Peerless hinged cuffs because I had 2 pairs that the locks broke on and came open. I carry the black ones.
I use S&W cuffs only, just my choice I guess. I keep a pair of these under a keeper up front. I like them for the simple ability of being able to get one cuff on, and instantly have perfect pain complience if the individual decides to try for a cheap shot.
I found a pair of S&W hinged in the dirt all rusted up. I cleaned them and made sure they were still usable. I still have them and I use them when I am not able to use my S&W chain cuffs.
always reliable and easy to handle.
These are my second set of cuffs, my first being chain SW. Outstanding quality. The bad guys really hate them, and I appreciate that.
Like them, very reliable.
I carry and always use these without any problems. They're very heavy-duty and comfortably restrict movement. It's probably impossible to open these if you have a key in your hand. I like the double-lock slider instead of the pin, as it's easier in low-light conditions. They come in blackish and the regular silver.
I love these handcuffs! these are the only cuffs that I would carry in a jail environment or while your out patrolling the streets, it's great for restricting movement and it's been in my experience impossible to pick (trying to get yourself out of cuffs). Other than Peerless these are the only handcuffs that I would highly recommend having.
I bought a pair of Mod. 300 last year and i LOVE them...these cuffs not only restrict the suspects movement, but also allow the use of more restrictive placement. in addition if applyed with the cuff keys holes up they are almost impossible to pick. I bought mine at Cuffs4cops.com and got them with my name and the cuff caliper ( a series of numbers along the ratchet and an arrow that shows you how far they have been applied...useful to put on your report... CYA i always say!!!!
This is my favorite pair and the first one I grab for!
Absolutely wonderful! Out of the four different sets of cuffs I have, these have claimed favorite status.
Great cuffs, best pair I have.
Just purchased these, and right of the box they are well oiled and loose but tight enough to catch with just the slightest pressure. I am psyched to have these on my belt.
SMITH AND WESSON ARE MY FAVORITE SET OF CUFFS BUT I'M NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE HINGED MODELS SINCE IT DOESNT ALLOW FLEXIBILITY WHEN TRYING TO CUFF SUSPECTS ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SUSPECT IS XL.
I carry two pairs of S&W Handcuffs, one Chain and This product, both are great, these are better for pain compliance and prepping. But I also carry a pair of Flexi Cuffs just in case,
my sgt let me see these they are pretty cool i want my own so i can use them too
Recently switched to this cuff and could not be happier. No problems as of yet.
Good Cuffs
I love hinge cuffs!!
In my opinion smith & wesson cuffs are the best cuffs made. I use both the hinged and the chained with the hinged being my secondary set I also have a set of black chained that i keep with me as well. I have NEVER had any problems with these cuffs. I would recommend these cuffs to anyone in law enforcement.
The best of the best in restraints. I have used smith and wesson cuffs for over 20 years and will not use anything else. I still have and use my first pair of smith chain cuffs.....
I have these as my backup set, I use them more often than my issued set of linked S&W cuffs. Only downside is you have to keep them oiled or they will rust on the hinges.
Good cuffs, just not a fan of the S$W double locking slot. Still good cuff.
I just bought my seconds pair of S&W hinged this morning, so now I will be carrying 2 pair on the street. I have been a fan of S&W cuffs since I joined the Marines in 1992 and wouldn't think of any other company for my restraints. My last department issued Peerless, but I just let them hang from the emergency brake in my squad car. I always carry S&W on my belt. I love the hinge over the chain. Prisoners don't get as much freedom of movement and as was mentioned before, with one cuff on you can get instant pain compliance. In addition, I have 4 more sets of S&W chain cuffs that I keep in my bag in the new squad car, just in case something huge breaks out. Love 'em, worth the money, and I've never had a single problem with a set.
Good Cuffs
put this on a ass hole so that they can not move that much yes
S&M CUFFS ARE THE BEST I USE THE MODEL 300 CUFFS IN THE JAIL NOBODY IS GETTING OUT OR AWAY FROM THEM
