I have used this product for the first time about a month ago and was very effective. It slowed the pursuit down from about 90 mph to about 30 mph just prior to the suspect vehicle going into a urban enviroment. This product is simply great I cant say enough about it.

I love stop sticks, their isn't a better tool to use on a fleeing suspect, aside from a PIt/TVI maneuver. With proper training and knowledge, these are great tools for law enforcement.

It is so fun when a 110 mph suspect slows to a crawl and their like "Well, what did I do?"

We carried these in all out patrol units. What nice about the stop stick, is that they are rechargeable. Work great.

The Stop Stick itself is a great tool. There are thousands of these Stop Sticks in all fifty states. BUT ....

You have to be very careful in actually deploying these in the roadway or where ever. There have been numerous deaths throughout the United States attributed to fleeing suspects taking evasive action TOWARD the deploying officer. We had a officer nearby killed due to the bad guy taking out the officer who deployed the Stop Sticks.

Be aware of your surroundings and have an escape route for yourself.

As tire deflation devices go, this is the best one ever invented. I have successfully ended 9 pursuits with the stopsticks. They are simple to deploy and remove from the road for pursuit units.

With a slow release everything is controlled by time and distance and not rushed causing injury or death to others..........

have had the the stop sticks for over a year. have never used them. i have heard good things about them.

this is a great product, it works real well when you neeed them.

We've had them for about 2 years, still haven't used one. I guess that's a good thing, maybe. =\
