this is a great book to have. It has a section that shows you where to look for certain situations. And even has devotions and prayers. I carry it around on a daily basis

This is THE training manual. If you follow these guidelines, you can't go wrong. It is great to have this with me at ALL times and gives great inspiration on those days when things never seem to go right. It was one of the best gifts I have ever received. If you are religious or not, the extra sections are worth reading.

Your agency's policy manual is a geat addendum to The Book!

I have read it cover to cover...several times. It is the authoritative volume for all the ages. A bedrock edition that will take you well beyond the daily grind of a LEO. It contains all the answers. Guaranteed.

It is good to see that the Bible has a 5 star rating.
The main thing is that you know who the Bible is about.
Better yet, that you know Him.

Good reminder that we are Peacekeepers for Him. A great bible study book is The Peace Keepers by Michael Dye.

I recieved this bible from a chaplain after receiving an award from a shooting i was involved in, during the stressful time i releid very heavily on it. reading it several times a day, as i go to work everyday i always look at it and put my hand on it and say a pray for my safety as well as to take care of my family. I also carried it in my car when i was on patrol just to insure that i had not only physical protection but spiritual protection as well.

You know the bible is a wonderful book to begin with and then when you add what is inside this book, all about cops and situtations they may run into well it is a must have. I keep mine in my car on the front seat with me at all times

I have this book and love it. I am a KJV man, however I like reading the everyday wording this bible provides. I also enjoy all the extras that this bible has to offer. Read it more than once everytime you read it you will get something new out of it.

Okay, just got this for Christmas 2007 from my boys, and I love it. At first I was a little disappointed because I was expecting it to be like a MacArthur Study Bible with commentary throughout. I then read the individual scripture and I love the format and then I found all the extras in the back. It has become my new Sword. I am quite proud of having my badge, name and unit number on the front, and it has helped minister to others already. A little disclaimer, I think my badge style just happens to match the one that comes standard on the cover.

Even if I don't read it as much as I should, having it around is till a comfort for when you need it.

I love this Bible. I got it for Christmas, and it is amazing. I love the officers prayer and everything else that is provided in the book. I recommend this to everyone.

I recently purchased this Bible and enjoy the inspirational writings of fellow Police Officers, at the back of the Bible. It has the Policman's Prayer, Code of Ethics, and ect. It is my first HCSB and it reads just as clearly as an NIV. However, I use my NIV Study bible for bible class and this one for on the go, on the job.

Not bad to have close by my Glock in a rainy day...

First of all it's the Bible so enough said. But secondly it is a great resource for officers and their families. I was actually able to use the "Police Man's Prayer" that is located in the back along with numerous other beneficial writings and prayers in my graduations closing Benediction. Great product and also a great size, easily fits in my duty bag! Never leave home without it!

Good devotionals and helpful texts in the back. Nice touch with the badge on the front. Be careful with the translation!

Recently received this as a promotion gift. I would recommend that all officers have and read this. It has special articles in the back written by LE officers/chaplains and is a very good read.

This Bible is great and provides encouragement and guidance for Law Enforcement. The only change I would make is to have larger print for us "old guys"!

A great Bible for Police Officers. The "Where to Turn" section is wonderful to find a reading to help through those day to day struggles.

When I was sworn in this was given to me by my family. I treasure it everyday for the words of strength it gives me when I've had a bad day on the streets, or when I'm just looking to spend a little quiet time with God. Either way it is a must have and I recommend it for all...

It is easy to understand, gives comfort in any situation I am involved in and gives me peace just to have it in my possession.

I've got this and it's a great tool. Keep a copy of it in my duty bag. Great extras.

What can I say? This is God's Word to us. What a blessing!

Great to have the word of God anytime....but this is especially nice because it cites certain/specific examples of how law enforcement correlates to the Bible.
I think the added testimonials at the end of the Bible are a very nice touch & the "guide" to where to find things in the Bible is helpful also.

This BOOK stays in the seat next to me. When I start my shift I read some of my favorite passages, the police officers prayer, and then ask God to bring it on!

My job as a cop is justified in God's eyes throughout His Word. The next time you question why you're a cop and start thinking about quitting and going into the ministry, go to page 1133 in The Police Officer's Bible and read the article: "Police work is God's work". We all have gifts, and we all have a calling. God has called His people to do anything from sell houses, to work at McDonald's, to preach, to teach, to be missionaries, or even be social workers. Only the elite are called to be Police Officers. We must be those who administer the hand of justice here on Earth on God's behalf. It just doesn't get any better than that...

When I was on patrol I always carried this in my duty bag. Now that i'm in an office I have this on my book shelf and its not just for show! I have two of them, one that is beat up and the other was a gift and has my name printed on it...love it.

When things really get tough in the asphalt jungle I talk to God and ask for His guidance to help me get through each situation and hendle it right. It's the best and only "real" instruction manual for living each day and running the race of life to it's completion.

Everyone should have one of these. It was given as a gift to me from a good friend. I plan to pass this on to every brother in blue I can find.

I just received as copy of this. Their are times when schedules are so hectic, onre isn't able to pick up the Bible as often as one might like. The uniqueness of this book, it puts mind/ soul at peace when reading and re-reading the special prayers and the devotional sections of this Bible. In order to grasp lessons to learn the mind has to be receptive, anf in order to be receptive the mind has to be at peace.

I had another officer give this to me, it is very nice it even camre with my name on it. It truely is the good bood!

It is portable. quick reference for different situations. Devotionals, Salvation/witnessing, healing, promises. easy to read. Just a great Bible.
