I know very little about this weapon but I am looking for feedback on it due to it seems to be perfect for a back up weapon and easy to conceal while O/D. Brothers and Sisters please give some input on this. Your post will help me determine what to buy.

I've only shot kel-tec pistols on a couple of occasions, and never have fired the 9mm. From what I could tell the accuracy of the smaller calibers is ok for how small they are. The price isn't that bad either. I know alot of officers that carry kel-tec's because of how easy it is to conceal them. Personally I don't care for the "get off me guns" but it's all personal preference. All in all a good by though.

Average shooting gun, great for back and they also come in different colors. I know a MALE cop that had a baby powder puff blue one. LOL

Not a bad little gun for a pocket pistol. I have small hands and it is hard for me to hold. But would be a great back up in a pinch.

My stepfather just bought one, and after shooting it, I want one as a back up. It's a tiny gun chambered in .380 and extremely easy to conceal. Haven't had a jam yet.

You know this is just an alright gun. I am being nice when I give it a 3 star rating. I like accuracy, and this is not a strong point in this gun. I will admit for the size it does let off a big bang, and carry's a good deal of power. Just not my weapon of choice. On occasion I will wear worn it on the job, on my ankle holster, and carry the Glock 30 on waist.

I love my little kel-tec. I have a very accurate .380. But then it depends what kind of range you're looking for. It's basically a "if the shit hits the fan weapon" and I won't be shooting it more than 25 meters anyway. Within 25 meters i find it very accurate. The thing i don't like it that it has a long trigger pull. Mine is also equipped with a side clip. Therefore when i have it in my pocket, even off duty, it looks as though i just have a knife in my pocket.

Very dependable . Powerfull in the 380 model. I wear mine behind the back in my pants holstered of course. Probably the most comfortable conceal weapon that you could carry, oh yeah its great in jeans pocket front or rear , but I prefer holstered. Accurate enough to trust as a backup weapon ,then again I trust it enough I sometimes carry it alone for quick store trips.

I have the 380 model I like it due to being able to drop it in a front pants pocket and it does not stand out. Realy nice in the summer time.

Kel-Tec doesn't exactly have a sterling reputation on the forums various places, but from what I can tell, those who actually own them, love them. Looked at one of their .380s at the gun show yesterday. It ain't much pistol, but having said that, if you want something easily concealable, it just might be the ticket.

I carry this in a .380. Durable, easily concealable and the perfect "get off me" backup or off duty weapon.

It is small compact and works well as a backup or CC. I normally carry with a + extension on the mag so it is a 12+1. The best thing about mine is it will feed and function with anything. After a recent major USPSA match I picked up just over 100, 9mm rounds off the ground with every type of bullet our there JHP, TC, RN, LRN, all in weights from 95 to 148 gr, the power factors were mild to supersonic and it did run them all without a bobble.

I really love mine. It is small and light and very accurate. The Extreme Shock Ammo is very efficient but a little pricey but well worth it. Best little semi-automatic that I have ever had. Plus, you can't beat the price.

I picked up one from one of our retired members. She sold it because of the heavy trigger pull. She has arthritis and had problems qualifying for CCW. I took the gun out this evening after work and ran three boxes of 9mm through it. One box of FMJ, one box of hydroshock ammo and a third box of mixed ammo that I had laying around. The gun functioned flawlessly with the factory magazine. She had one mag with the extended baseplate. It felt good in the hand but I would bump the mag release every couple of shots. I don't know why this happened so I'll stick with the flat baseplate mags. The thing is a handfull to shoot. Accuracy is OK but I've shot compact .45's that were tamer. Long heavy trigger pull. Real easy to conceal. I also own the Kel-Tec P380. I love that little gun but wanted something more powerful than a .380. I haven't decided yet if I'll keep it or trade it for something a little more pleasant to shoot.

I had one and had a failure to feed at least every mag. I shot. The price is good and concealable yes. But not reliable enough for me so I got rid of it. Rugger makes one now called the LCP (light compact pistol) looks almost identical to the kel-Tec and around the same price but I think it would be more reliable and better all around because it's made buy rugger you should check it out. Good luck.

I carried this gun as a back up and had few problems with it and shot regulary. The only problem i had with this gun is that if you use cheap ammo and try to double tap it would jam chambering the third round. excellent back up gun

This gun is the easiest to conceal. I had one a few years back that I bought for my ex wife. I carried it more than she did. It would fit in your back pants pocket under a wallet and you would hardly notice it was there. It shot great and had a high ammo capacity for such a small frame. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a great off duty weapon or a backup weapon.

This weapon is light, accurate & easily concealable. Perfect for when your need to carry during an undercover detail or as a backup weapon. The 9mm round is perfect for those who don't think the smaller calibers provide enough protection. I recommend this weapon for concealed carry & back up.
