Good radio. Multiple features and many different configurations. Durable and reliable. Plenty of accesories availible both from Motorola and other companies.
A decent radio for publi safety. The knobs are close together and the channel selector moves too easily so channels change by accident on occasion.
Not bad. Great radio when we used to be on the old VHF band. VHF has died out and so have these radios, for LEO's.
Used this radio a few years ago. Only problem was battery life.
Great radio. We use this radio as a primary communication device between firefigters and MFRs. The only drawbacks are the battery life and the RF power.... unless u have a repeater in the area ur not going to communicate in Northeastern Michigan.
SO FAR SO GOOD .i TEND TO BUMP AND DROP A LOT AND KEEP SWORKING GREAT..THE EAR PIECE OPTION THAT COMES WITH IT SUCKS, BENN THROUGH 5 IN 6 MONTHS BUT OTHER THAN THAT GOOD RADIO.
This is a great radio! I have had mine for a couple of years and have had not one problem. I use this radio allot and mostly outdoors. When we are on search and rescue missions, the radio has been subjected to dirt, water, snow, and abuse. This radio has seen it all and has never failed me once!
works well on thet uhf band
Not the best I've used, but usually the one I carry when my only other choice is the HT-1000.
I've had alot of trouble with these.. Clock won't keep time.. Battery gets loose and disconnects.. and MY pd put this loud beep on it every time I key up.. I want my HT100 back..
This radio sucks, buttons stick and battery falls out without warning.
My agency went to this radio about 6 months ago and I love it. I have yet to have a problem and I use it all the time. A big bonus feature is the alphanumeric display screen.
Love this radio. I use it on the rescue squad im involved with. Numerous channels and great display when ur in the field trying to change channels with heavy or latex gloves on. Takes drops very well and cleans up very nice.
Good Radio. Does what it needs to do as long as we have had them. Our office has a number of these and I know USCP still have these.
not a bad radio. seems to find all the dead spots in the county though.
Very grate radio tuff as nails
Good radio. Very durable. Lot of features. The only fault I have found is when the battery gets low the reception goes with it.
Very clear and functional. We have had issues with them not working correctly when the battery is low.
Good radio. very dependable.
Great radio that we were just starting to use on Search and Rescue before I went Reserve. It was a radio that we didn't want to issue unless that person really knew how to use a radio. Unless you used it everyday, and knew what all the functions were, it tended to be hard for some to figure out. This caused some issues while out on missions.
But like any Motorola, it is a great radio, that can take the abuse and still work.
This is a great radio!
Great Radio
