Description:

The first light to have both small size and high light output in the same rugged package. The original 6P was the first light to use lithium batteries and a high output xenon bulb. Updated for today's law enforcement standards, the new 6P is still precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and hard anodized for corrosion and wear resistance. Made in the USA. Color: black. • Operates on 2 lithium 3-volt batteries. • Produces 65 lumens of light for 60 minutes. • Impact-proof Lexan lens window. • Flawless white beam, always in focus.

Good Light. Bright, durable and compact. The only thing I do not like about this light is the batteries go quick and they are expensive. Would recommend it as a secondary light.

Great light, but like any surefire you need to keep extra batteries handy. I keep an extra 6P in my range bag and the Z2 combat light on my duty belt.

I have been using Sure Fire for about 15 years and absultely love the brightness of the light and the size. I don't need a bulky carrier for it. The only I have a problem with is the batteries. It uses more battery power than I care for, especially for batteries that are nearly $10.00 each.

THis is a great light. I have several of them, and one mounted to my rifle. They are small light and reliable. I would recommend this light to anyone who is looking for a small light to carry on thier belt with them all the time.

Great product as with all Surfire products. Bright light, durable and is a primary light on my belt. I don't like the idea of having to carry spare bateries in my bag, but this thing will light up any place you need to see. I now they make a rechargeable version, but it is too big to carry as a secondary light.

Great light, but better for use in 1 or 2 second bursts, rather than letting it run continuously. I upgraded mine to 120 lumens, and if you thought 65 lumens was bright, wait until you see what nearly double that looks like in a dark room--scorchingly bright even in the midday sun.

I have the 6P defender with the strike bevel on the front of it. It is the best light I have ever used. It's a lot brighter than most lights its size and the strike bevel is great for pressure points to get compliance.
