| Description: | Our Miami Classic™ is quite possibly the most imitated shoulder holster system in the world. A direct descendant of the original shoulder system first introduced by Galco in 1970 (then the Famous Jackass Leather Company), the Miami Classic has since become the favorite of professionals worldwide. A key component of this patented shoulder system is its spider harness. All four points of the spider harness pivot independently and are connected by our unique clover shaped Flexalon™ swivel back plate, which is a Galco trademark. This results in a perfect fit and lasting comfort for all sizes and shapes. This system is constructed of premium saddle leather and includes holster, harness, ammo carrier and a set of system screws. The Miami Classic is fully modular. Optional accessories and components may be purchased separately. Made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the Miami Classic is available in right hand draw in tan or black finish. To assemble a left-handed or personalized shoulder system, select a holster, harness and ammo carrier from the recommendations. |
This shoulder holster is by far the most comfortable shoulder rig I've worn. It makes the weight of the Glock 22, two magazines, and a pair of hinged cuffs disappear. I wear mine daily,
ITs the best for wearing suits
I wear several types of holsters for different occasions and outfits and this works well with your suits under your jackets
Excellent quality...a must have for wearing under suits.
I almost died wearing my weapon in this holster. I was once in a shoot out. At my dept, when we go to the range, we only shoot with our guns in our duty holster on our duty belt. We didnt practice from a shoulder rig. Anyway, I was in a shooting. Just as in training, I went for my weapon and freeked out when it wasnt on my hip. It took me an extra second to remember it was hanging from my shoulder. Ive managed to retrieve my gun and shoot the bad guy....but, the extra second, could have caused the death of me.
I was on a military VIP protection detail with a young Secret Service agent. It was raining and he dropped something next to the car door he was standing next to. As he bent over to pick it up (you guessed it) his weapon fell out of the holster (similar to this one) and landed on the tarmack with a loud "clunk". As he tried to pick it up, he kicked it UNDER the car. Afterwards it was determined he hadn't securied the strap over the weapon. Oh well, the best designed equipment is only as good as the wearer :-)
