For anyone desiring a simple, reliable design in a semi-auto shotgun, look no further. My M1 has never misfed, jammed, or failed to fire. And it looks cool too. While a little pricey compared to some other shotguns, in this case I would say you get what you pay for.

I love my M1 Super 90, but I have had jams with low-recoil rounds. Specifically the SuperShok or Power Shok polymer rounds used by my department. The rounds do not cycle in the M1. All other normal rounds cycle perfectly. You just need to be sure that rounds you carry on-duty will cycle the action. Test the type of ammo you carry, train with it, not with cheaper, lighter loads.

I really like my benelli but I have the same problem as sgtmongo. most HK products will eat anything you put in them but be sure to test what you will carry on the road, i've had problem with lawman brand #4's. All slugs seem to work but be sure to have full power rounds to be reliable.

I like it but it will not eat everything you feed it. This could be a problem on the street and has potential to get you hurt should someone feed it low recoil loads so they wont get a bruise. Our E.R.T. has a bout 4 of these. All had problems with the front sight loosening and having to be repaired with loctite (blue). If I owned one I would not be too happy with the reliabillity and the cost. Plus you dont get the noise like you would from a pump:)

Has one fault. If you drop the weapon on its butt the round drops out.

Really nice shotgun in semi-auto, easy to crank off multiple rounds in a row. I like the pistol grip.

Great gun. I would suggest getting the action worked a little if you want to shoot lighter loads then slug and buckshot.

Great gun. We fielded this to the Iraqi army. It was a little difficult to teach breakdown and cleaning with all of the small parts.

Great shooting weapon. I haven't shot it but a couple of times, but I haven't had any problems.
