I have had this lightbar since 2005. It is blinding at night and can be seen very well during daylight. It can be ordered with a built in (amber) Traffic Advisor. This is accomplished using a split lens LED in the rear, mine is blue/amber. I would recommend getting the Liberty without the Traffic advisor. The blue light washes it out. When I use the Traffic Advisor I turn off the upper level (lightbar) blues and use my rear deck lights. Either way this is an all around great lightbar.

I've used this lightbar before. If you can't see it you shouldn't be driving.

Nice lightbar. The same one our patrol cars carry on them. Would recommend them to all other agencies. Just wish they were a bit thicker with more lights.

we have several different led lightbars and the whelen is by far the best. as the actual red and blues go theyre all pretty much the same but where this one surpasses the others is in that the takedown and alleys are still halogens. my tomar light bar has leds for the whites also and you cant even tell theyre on unless your headlights are off.

Great light bar! A great attention getter, there is no way you can't see this coming in your rear view mirror.

Low profile, with lots of user end options. We use them, and installed an optional Opticom traffic light clearing system in the center which works perfectly. Like others have said, if you can't see this, you should not be driving.

NCSHP started using this lightbar several years ago. It is far better than the strobe lightbar we used to have. Now when I have it activated, cars several miles ahead are starting to yield to me. WIth the strobe, I was right up behind them and they still would not move over. Great product.

Great Lightbar, I had this on my first traffic car (for evaluation purposes) it was the only car in our 1100 vehicle fleet with this lightbar. Got alotta good feedback. Very Bright at any angle. All our traffic cars are now slick tops or unmarked, but if I had to have a lightbar, this would be it. This is even brighter than the new Federal Signal all LED, we put them side by side to compare..
