THis are great for "the pit manuever" I pitted one and the only damage was paint of the push bumper. Of course, you have in come in at a sharper angle on their rear quarter panel or bumper.

we use these and the sight of these seems to have cut down on our pursuits. we have found they work wonderful on the deer that run in front of a patrol car, they are lots cheaper to replace than the front end of the vehicle.

These things are almost indestructible, especially with the available wraps. Plus they just give the Crown Vic a certain look...

We have these pushbars on most of our patrol vehicles, but with the wrap around headlight protectors. I had this product on my vehicle when I had my accident and can say that if I didn't I probably would have been hurt worse.

This pushbumper not only dresses up my patrol car it has allowed me to push stranded vehicles out of the roadway it has cut down on vehicle repairs from frontend collisions saved officers from possible serious injuries. We now have them on all our vehicles.

the guards arent just great for the "pit", but it does wonders with deer. All the county units have them because of the damage to the vehicles and deer. It costs about $300 a guard instead of 1,000.00 to replace a hood, fender, headlights ect. Great product!!!

Awesome product, beside making your patrol car look great. It really is a use fully tool. I was on my way home one night, in my take home car. I hit a deer standing board side in the middle of the road. I ran into it doing aprox 60 miles an hour. The front of my cruiser should have been smashed up. It sent the deer flying across the road into the ditch. There was nothing but some deer hair on my fender. If I didn't have the push bumper on , we would have been down a car.

Do not ever try to tie a tow strap to this to pull yourself out of the ditch, it will rip your front bumper off.
