This is your standard duty original rechargable flashlight. Not one of those ABS plastic lights. It's heavy, its far brighter than the Streamlight and can be used as a defensive weapon if needed. I'll take it over a plastic light any day.

Great general use patrol flashlight. We mount chargers in all our cars, so these are always ready to go. Ijust wish the bulbs wouldn't die if you accidently drop the light.

Tough and reliable, much better than the D-cell lights. Adjustable beam good if you like that. I have had mine for a few years the head turns on it's own and I have to continually readjust the beam to where I had it. I have changed to the SL-20 and like much better

The best flashlight I've used, ever. My dept. issued the Streamlight Stinger, and I only use that as a back-up light. I purchased this light and haven't been disappointed. There's nothing better than walking up on a vehicle and shining this baby in the eyes of the suspect. You get a definate advantage when they have to squint and put their hands up to block the light. The only problem I've had with this light is the halogen bulbs seem to burn out much quicker than standard maglite bulbs--but I always keep a few spares around just in case.

I love these flashlights. They hang in there. Hey you can even hit something with them..... tires, doors, etc, and they still keep working.

I got mine as a Christmas gift from my wife a year ago. My department's fleet services mounted my charger in my car. It's easy to reach and always ready to go. Sending 40,000 candlepower into a suspect eyes gives you and advantage. The bulbs burn out a little quicker than I like, but that may be attributed to being dropped. I have found that during foot pursuits, you may be lighting the way for your suspect. The light is very reliable and tough. If mine ever wears out, I won't hesitate to by another. I work with guys that have had theirs for 15-20 years.

The maglite is an icon in American Law Enforcment. We have Maglite rechargables mounted in most all of our patrol vehicles. They are heavy but are virtually troulbe free other than bulbs and battery sticks wearing out.

I love it. I mounted this light in my patrol car and use it daily on night shift. This light serves double duty.....flashlight and weapon/baton!!!!

These are great flashlights. I wish we used them instead of the streamlight, which after a few weeks of work will stop working.

Tough, reliable, been dropped, submerged, driven over, and still kicking. I've used numerous lights over the past twenty years of service and this is by far the best yet. Wouldn't work a night shift without it.

This is an awesome flashlight!! I have had mine for 11 years and haven't even had to replace the battery yet. I have only replaced the bulb twice and only because I dropped the flashlight. I would highly recommend this product.
