GREAT COFFEE nothing like a vente to get you up and running when feeling tired while on duty.
Just like Starbucks to be popping up everywhere. I really prefer coffee from the gas station.
The best coffee is from a stop and rob. The ones with ten kinds of coffee.
Always liked the McDonalds or White Castle coffee the best until I tried my first Americano from Star Bucks a couple years ago. They opened a shop about a mile from my house and now I am a frequent customer. The prices are high but I treat myself a couple times a week.
Great pick me upper......to bad they don't open when I go to the Detention Center at 5:00am.
too expensive and it tastes burnt to me. gas station coffee rocks.
I'm a coffee snob and being a former Barista (that's coffee jockey for you people NOT in the know) for several small local operations, I have to say that there is much better coffee out there than Stalinbucks. With that said, if I need a cuppajoe and I have the choice between Starbucks and Folgers... I'll take Starbucks. At least I can get two shots of espresso added to my Vente House Coffee to get me goin'... gas station coffee gives me wicked heartburn. Oh... and no, I don't need the fluffy coffee drinks. I like my coffee black and strong.
Not bad if your a liberal. :-)
I like the Expresso Roast you buy at the grocery store and brew at home.
Maybe if you want to spend a fortune everyday. a 99 cent cup from the local 711 does the trick
Yuck ! Has a nasty aftertaste ! I will take Dunken Donuts coffee anytime.
not worth the money! i can fix better coffee from my own kitchen.
to much money, but they have cornerd the market in a way. I do love a vanilla chai latte.
Not a big fan of the coffee at Starbucks, but I do like the chai teas. Usually get one everyday.
Way overpriced.....We have a coffee shop that opened here and it is a more of a generic Starbuck's if you will.....the plus is they provide free coffee (any kind) to officers on duty.......They do it as a sign of their appreciation and in return we leave nice tips....still coming out cheaper than paying an arm and a leg at Starbucks
Shortly after arrival at the office every morning I gather a few co-workers and head to the local starbucks. This is my routine. If anyone wanted to put a hit on me they would know where to look. You can rely on the fact that during most operational hours that they have got a fresh pot going. I think I'll head over there right now!!!
THey do't have a starbucks in my town and if i were to be caught outside tye one in the next town - Hidden way at the back of Borders - I would be in trouble!!
The UK has a lack of good coffee places open all hours - but when there is one nearby i'm a regular!!
Any Starbucks I have drank (then purged) tasted like it ran off of Luther's boots. Personally, I'm just still really pissed about the whole 9/11 water pirateering incident. (I don't hold grudges very long). My personal favorite is an iced coffee drink called Ice Rage. I like mine a 24oz Kona Mocha Ice Rage with a triple shot of White Zombie (35% more caffiene than espresso with a hazelnut taste). - Two drinks and you are going.
Its the best....I tried Seattle's Best and there is no comparison. Starbucks is the ONE. Java Chip and Caramel fraps baby. I am a starbucks addict =) Still not sure if that is a good thing though. But its good.
If it wasn't for the cost I would drink this every day. However WAWA coffee is a good alternative.
Coffee is coffee the stronger the better.
Well I can remember a time in my life when I was drinking 7/11 coffee and it was fine. Then about 10 + years ago something happened to me and next thing I know I have a $150 a month habit. I don't care for just the plain coffee it's very strong , however just give me a latte and no one will get hurt!!!! I know every Starbucks from San Diego to las Vegas and it's all goooood!!!!!!
We have about 5 Starbucks' within 15 minutes of my house, but I prefer getting Peet's (peets.com) or Coffee Fool -- it's so much fresher. I used to be fine with yesterday's mud from the local gas station but after I retired my taste buds got picky :-)
When I do Starbucks, I get the manly drink - a Coffee Frappuccino! I can'r make those at him . . .
to strong for me
Po-Po crank in a cup.
I'm on a first name basis with all the morning Barista's!
overpriced, Ill take the coffee from 7-11 thats is 99 cents.
i love my double shot espressos
I have to admit im not much of a coffe drinker but starbucks does make some good ice coffe, other than that they are a bit nutty with their prices ! but when all else fails and you need a pick me up in the morning that is the place to go !!!!
Only thing I like about Starbucks is their Eggnog.
I could use one right now but the nearest one is 20 miles away, which makes it about 18 miles out of jurisdiction.
don't know how i'd survive long boring night shifts without it.
i always get a vente cappacino with 5 extra shots of espresso in it, you would not believe the rush off of it, plus when you come down from it you crash hard and sleep like a baby!!!!
SORRY!!!!!! I'LL STAY WITH 7-ELEVEN CAPPACIONO..........
Starbucks has its place, but I agree with some of the other guys, the Stop and Rob with ten flavors is hard to beat. I tried one today at an Exxon store that ued the trade name, Bengal Traders and the coffee and all that goes along with it was out of this world.
never had it i will stick to Coke.
Love it! Also recently purchased an espresso machine so I can brew it at home too!
Too danged expensive! They have recently opened one within range of my wife and now she goes there regularly. GRRRRRRRRRR! Overpriced burnt water!!!
yes very expensive to me!A $2 iced coffee will do fine for me :)
OK, I had seen movies where people order the half-caf de-caf grande mocha latte and have to admit I was intimidated by this chain to just place an order. While in training in Ohio, the hotel had a Starbucks in the lobby and I thought I'd give it a try. Standing in line, mustering the courage and trying to figure out how and what I was going to order, I noticed a guy standing behind me. I allowed him to pass in front so I could observe and learn from his expertise. When he ordered a "regular coffee" I was ready to drop him right there! Gotta say I love their "iced vanilla latte's" (Iced coffee with milk). Rated 4 stars out of 5 because they are a expensive.
Great for that extra boost that you need at the end of your long graveyard shift. Tastes and styles to fit any person. Only problem, it can get pricy after a while...
I love their coffee. I have not found one that I don't like yet. I guess I am furthering the sterotype.
LOVE IT!!! ICE COFFEE IS #1 BABY!!! IF YOU NEED A PICK ME UP YOU GOTTA ADD A SHOT MMMMMM GOOODDD!
Starbucks? You can keep it. We have many better choices in central Virginia, including - but not limited to - Seven-Eleven, Krispy Kreme, and Dunkin Donuts coffees. Starbucks always impresses me as tasting kind of "last year", and while I like my coffee "aged", Starbucks just tastes BAD here. Plus it's QUITE expensive and does not digest well.
This does do the trick when I need a picker upper. Only when I need it, is when I splurge.
Some of the best coffee in the world though I've had some "mom and pops" cafes come really close. Nothing like a Vente to get things going at the start of a shift or just a regular day!
i have to say:starbucks is an all time fave of mine.i love chilled frappacinos. The new flavor mint, they can do without.
I think it's incredibly expensive and why bother when you can get coffee just as good at places like QT. QT will give on-duty personnel all the coffee they can drink and access to a place to write their reports out of the cold in the winter. Can't beat it. What's Starbucks want? $3 bucks a pop for something fruity and nothing else to show for it.
GREAT COFFEE! I love my Grande Caramal Machiato. It goes great with doughnuts too!!
Even Sonic's blended coffee is better, not to metion cheaper. And why do they put three Starbuck's in the same shopping mall?
starbucks is overpriced and overrated, DD is the best in my book, A regularly cleaned machine, and not burnt... and NO SUGAR, Don't screw it up ROOKIE!!!!
I must say, with hesitancy, that I do like this coffee. I just cant stand to order a Venti Latte with an extra shot of espresso. Makes me feel like a liberal. So, I have my rookies do it...LOL
I'm a DD kinda guy....McDonald's is good too
My Favorite Tool ....
Mmmm...coffee...The first time I went into Starbucks Coffee, my lower jaw fell to the ground as I looked at the menu board. I was so confused. I ordered something (I forgot what it was) and the employee handed me a little cup. I looked at it strangely and he said if I would like to add milk to it. I agreed and received a medium size cup that I was accustomed to. That was my first and last visit (for now). Otherwise, 7-Eleven or QT (Quik Trip) has flavorful coffee for reasonable prices.
good coffee!
White chocolate mocha.....yummy!
Great coffee, just over priced. Tim Horton's for me.
Starbucks isn't bad but the best around here is Texas Roast. Better coffee and better staff.
Starbucks coffee is okay...I'd much rather have the coffee you can get from Circle K or Kwick Shop...and if you'll buy that...I through the golden gate in for free.
Give me a Venti latte with 1/2 and 1/2 and 6 Splenda and I'll be good to go...
Redbull beats Starbucks Coffee any day.......
Prices may be igh but this coffee ROCKS!!!
I really like Starbucks even though it costs so much. My favorite fluff drink there is a tripple Grande Vanilla Latte, no foam. But then you ask them to put two or three scoups of Vanilla Bean powder in it instead of the Vanilla syrup and two pumps of Mocha syrup. Make sure they, or you stir it. It tastes good and give you a jolt. Bottom line is that I just like coffee and I'll drink it from where ever and when ever, with or without anything in it. But the above described drink is my favorite.
A Marble Mocha Frappucino rocks.
to hell with starbucks coffee. they dont suport the war. Im ok with that. The problem is that some MARINES wrote asking if they could send some coffee and starbucks said no. We dont support the war OR the people fighting it.
Their regular coffee is over-priced and over-rated. I do enjoy their mochas every now and then though.
They dont support the troops... nuff said for me
I worked as a Barista for a Starbucks inside of Albertson's. recent changes brought in a different coffee company, and I appreciate more than ever the Starbucks brand. I enjoy the coffee as well as the experience. My favorite blends are Ipanema Bourbon, Christmas Blend, and Anniversary Blend. The flavors are so unique, and not just a muddy blend of other blends that happen to fall in the bag.
Starbucks is also able to maintain a constant flavor, and standard of service by controlling their own product. The company I work under now relies on outside sources to provide our chocolates, and syrups. This means the quality of what I make now is in the hands of every other company which supplies our main ingredients. Starbucks has managed to keep a good quality product. The coffees are my favorite at home, at work, and on the road.
Starbucks SUCKS. Any cop worth their badge knows every place in the district with good coffee. Oh by the way coffee has one ingredient and two optional ingredients, one is coffee,, two and three are creme and sugar. Anything else is stuff for candy.
Between the liberal corprate agenda and the fact they donate money to the Mumia effort I can't belive people would drop a dime to them.
Oh and another thing good coffee is free too
Good cop + Never cold, never wet, never hungry
VERY OVER RATED. YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE NAME, NOT THE PRODUCT. I LIKE MCDONALDS COFFEE AND HOME BREWED COFFEE.
The coffe is great strong the way I like it.We also have a drive thru in my home town, only down fall they dont open at 0400 on my way to work.
A must! Always double fisted!
Good coffee...But it should be for what you pay for it...
what we need on every corner on every block
Over priced coffee I've had better for less!!!
Well being a native Washingtonian, living in the home of Starbucks.. I gotta support the hometown. I wasnt a coffee snob until about 10 years ago when my ex got stationed in Texas. I had to drive 35 minutes to get to the nearest Starbucks.. guess backwoods part of Texas isnt deserving of the coffee culture. I tried going back to the "everything in between" Mc Donalds, 7-11 and other swill.. but it just wasnt the same. Starbucks is like this-either you love it or you hate it. I will admit its a little pricey but you pay for what you get...
Venti White Mocha at the start of every shift
Venti Iced white chocolate mocha!!! Nothing better...
GREAT COFFEE nothing like a Vente Caramel Latte to get you up and running when on/off duty.
I was hesitant at first to even try Starbucks, but once I did, I couldn't go back to the crap that they make at the stop&rob. Great to keep ya going on 3rd shift.
Nothin' quite like a Venti drip to kick-start your day! ;-)
Prefer double cappachino express
loves it!
It's great, unless you live in a small town in the middle of nowhere and you don't make enough to support the hhhhaaabbbbiiitttt... Sorry about that, having caffeine withdrawal.
Nothing like a strong cup of house blend to get my heart going after briefing...
great coffee
Venti coffee frappuccino...go to Books a Million...suddenly it becomes a large original frappe.. either way, it gives me all the spunk I need to keep going all day long....hold the whipped cream.
It gets two stars only because it technically is coffee, but its not real "lifer juice", and might even be what I call a froo-froo drink. I'm just sayin'...
Love it! Used to work here, and I've been hooked ever since!
Charbucks
Love Starbucks
too expensive....but I do like to stop by once or twice a yr..
Breakfast, Snack, Lunch.. Coffeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)
Work full time, student full time, Mom full time.... LOL..... :)Maria
Very good when have money for daily uses. Short on cash, 0300hrs, Starbucks closed, 7/11 baby!!!
Oh I love Starbucks. Wish I had them close here . I had them every where when I lived in Orlando, Yummy to the frappuccinos and the caramel lattes.
Honey Latte. Especially good when enjoyed while sitting in the mobile platform of justice patrolling the high crime areas of Loudoun. BEWARE: Honey Latte will get cold in the amount of time it takes you to chase down terd and effect arrest. If at all possible take the Honey Latte with you on the foot pursuit.
Way over priced, not my favorite
Over Priced and too bitter for me. Might as well stick the bean in your mouth and start to chew. Same Taste, I would assume.
Love it!! Could drink it 5 times a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year!!! (THAT IS IF I COULD AFFORD IT!!!) Haven't had a drink at Starbucks that I didn't like.
Love it!
Love the darker-the-better-roasts. Black. No perfume.
mcdonalds has better coffee
Great coffee, but too pricy
Great coffee, especially when I was overseas. They supplied it monthly, free of charge to our unit in Baghdad. We were extremely grateful for the coffee every morning.
Have yet to have a good cup of Starbucks Coffee. I really don't care for burnt coffee. Maybe I am just he unlucky one to always stop at the "Bad" Starbucks.
Too freakin expensive!
