| Description: | They're some of the first of Kershaw's Ken Onion SpeedSafe knives and still among the best. All feature 13C26 stainless-steel blades for strength and corrosion resistance. The Blackout's blade is also coated with scratch-resistant Tungsten DLC for a handsome, non-reflective surface. All knives include a contoured handle of injection-molded polyimide, an extremely durable engineering plastic, for a comfortable and stable grip. Stainless-steel liners add to the overall handle strength. |
I have used this knife for 5 years and only had to sharpen twice
Wheres the pic, sgt. Kershaws are okay but I prefer Benchmade.
Kershaw is an OK knife I have had a hard time keeping an edge on them versus Benchmade
I own one and it is hard to get a good edge on it.
I have put mine through hell and it has not let me down. Man it can take and hold an edge to.
Never leave home without it. NEVER!
I just purchased my second Kershaw. The first finally broke after carrying it for 6 yrs. and using for everything. I love the assisted opening feature.
Have carried one for years, love the quick opening feature, got mine at Walmart for $35.00.
I carry my Kershaw 1640 Vapor. Reliable, keen blade. Does not open one-handed as easily as I would like, but it is a good functional knife.
Kershaw knives are great. I have many around the house. One issue I have is they loose their edge faster then Buck, Cold Steel and some of the other high end knives on the market. But, they are also a lot easier to sharpen then the others listed above.
