This is our departmental issue weapon. Very smooth trigger pull, approx 3 lbs. I have only known it to jam rarely in training using very dirty reloads.
I switched to one from a Glock. Very good gun.
I owned serveral PO and they are an okay guns. I would normally stripped it down and replaced them with all COLT parts. I only used the frame and slide for Hi-cap. PO parts are ok....they are not the best.....The picture above is not an LDA, it is a single action model.
Department issued. Sensitive to and jams frequently with reloads. Otherwise, easy to shoot and handle.
I've carried the 14.45 LDA for nearly 5 years. It is big and heavy true, but when shooting it, it is a joy to shoot. Never had a jamb or issue with it. For the past year+ I've carried it in a water patrol enviornment, no problems. I liked it so much that I got two of its baby brothers--the 6.45 LDA compact, one for me and one for the wife-she loves hers. And yes the listed photo is of the SA version of a 14.45.
Departmental issued weapon. I have never hade a problem with this weapon. Very good and dependable firearm.
Shoots like a 9 mm. Love it
Very nice trigger pull. Approx 2 1/2 lbs plus for a .45 cal., it has a nice mag capacity!! No jamming experience with me
