| Description: | Small, reliable 380ACP weapon of german design. Accurate and dependable. |
I have one of these that I purchased in 1995 when Interarms held the American contract. I use it for backup and off duty carry. This weapon is very reliable and spot on accurate even at distances up to 50yrds. I prefer the older Interams to the current Smith&Wesson Walther USA version as the fit finish and just the overall build of the weapon is far superior.
Great Back up weapon. Now that I am retired looking for something a tad smaller and eaiser to conceal in my baggy shorts. But I will keep my PPK/S next to my bed stand.
I have one of these built in duralluminium (I hope that people could understand this word in English) in 1953. It's still perfect and perfectly working too. You can carry it in your pocket or everywhere yo want without any problem. I think that it also is much elegant. It is the 007's most traditional handgun.
I am a big fan of the PPK/S. I am planning on having my mom buy one and sell it to me after I get my tax return. I'm 20 otherwise I would buy it myself. i wont be able to carry it for a year, unless something goes wrong in my attempt to aquire a ccw after i turn 21. i can own it legally, just not buy it from a dealer.
My first backup weapon in the mid 70"s was the ppk/s (German made). Small, accurate, easily concealed and very dependable.
I have owned my PPK/S for over two decades and it's still one of my favorites for concealed carry. On the downside, the 380 is a tad on the small side for knock-down but use federal Hydroshoks of Glasser Safety Slugs and you will have a dependable lifesaver when your butt's on the line.
My dad has one of these, we took it to the range and I loved it .380 is a tad on the small side though.
I have owned one (made by Interarms) since 1998 and love it. Very accurate and comfortable to shoot. Very concealable and a good back-up...with Federal rounds of course!
Because it would be a nice firearm to have.
Excellant conceallable and all around funtional weapon for up close and personal situations.
This is a great weapon!! It is not as big as the Sig P232 which makes it eaiser to conceal.
This booger will take the top of your thumb off if you arent careful
I have shot nothing less than 100% with this awesome weapon. I use it for my back up. Walther got this one right.
well made pistol
Had this weapon for several years. Its excellently made. However, 9MM short or .380 cal as its better known as, is under powered and its suitable for only those who are afraid to fire the more powerful 9MM parabellum or better yet, 40S&W. Much better choice than a 22 or 32 for the lady's .
I've got one of the last German production to legally enter the U.S. Great back up. It has been a little picky about what I feed it but does work well with Winchester ammo.
Had mine for over 25 years and it's still one of my favorites. Small, accurate and very reliable.
3 stars simply because it's a Walther - fantastic little ankle-weight, but I'd recommend Bersa's model in .380 as they're about half the price and every bit as reliable as the Walther. Buy the Walther and you're basically tossing in the extra ~$300 for the name.
Great little gun.
I own one and have since 1988. Always had great luck with it until I put about 5,000 rounds through it. Then the springs had to be replaced due to use. It wasn't ejecting so well. We carried them as a back up weapon in NARCO as well, though no one was happy with them except me. If you limp wrist the weapon it will stovepipe a lot. We eventually dropped it from NARCO and went with a small S&W 9 MM.
A nice light all-around, easy to conceal .380 for backup, off-duty and close range confrontations.
Used to own one - traded for a Glock 29 in 10mm - the PPKS is a very classy little gun and easy to carry - but I wanted something to kill bad guys dead.
