Hiatts hinge cuffs are definately good cuffs. I carry two sets.

These are great hinged cuff, perfect for small females. But I also carry a pair of Hiatt chain. They both work great. I have had my chain cuffs for 6 years now and are still like new.

Hinged cuffs are great, after application they provide great leverage to take an unruly subject down.

difficult to apply on person resisting

my personal preference is s&w these look a bit rugged and wonder if they will be difficult with a perp resisting. but i guess for that i would have to try em out

I nicknamed my pair "the asshole cuffs" because any inmate or subject who gives me grief or fights will get these slapped on them and tight!
