I have a white 1965 restored Ford Mustang. It is white/ tan interior, automatic, 6 cyl. It was a birthday present, and I have had it for about 15 years. I love it..... Quick little car.

Saving my pennies for the GT 500 KR (King of the Road) - I think that would make a great retirement gift for myself in a few years.
Almost had a 64 1/2 for my first car - but my father sold it a few months before I got my license - guess who I didn't talk to for about a year...
Had an 86 coupe (used) for a while - but the trans toasted on it after a few months and was going to cost what I paid for the car... so I moved on to a GNX to get over my heartbreak.

A 2005 Hyundai Elantra. Cost of living and gas in NY with a 120 mile round trip commute to work every day is too much to own some 8 cylinder muscle car. Would love to have a Mustang GT in black though.

I had a '67 coupe, striaght-6 200, automatic transmission, candy-apple red, form Sep 2001 to August 2006. She was my first car, I LOVED her, and for the longest time I SWORE I"d NEVER sell her.

Alas, summer of 2006 I had a money crisis that needed to be solved ASAP, and unfortunately the 'Stang was the only asset I had that could get me the $$ I needed so qickly; what's more, the up-keep costs were crimping severely on my checking account. So, with a heavy heart, I sold her.

20/20 hindsight:if only I'd known that 2 months later the Air Force would be paying me a $50K severance package (Voluntary Separation Pay), I probably woulda kept her? :-(

Hopefully, 2 or 3 years down the road, when my college loans and credit card debts are paid off, I'll get another classic 'Stang . . .

I bought a 1967 with the 289 in 1982 that I still own, later I added another '67 with the 289. Both of them tried to dollar me to death. I still have them both and figure between the two I have enough parts for one whole one. But it will never work, to be the same model year the two cars are set up completly different.
First one had factory air so I think this is why the two dont match.
