Barred from court

Posted 9 months ago An Albemarle County Police Officer was banned from the courtroom this morning after driving what I'm sure was over four hours to Washington County Virginia to honor a friend. The news didnt identify the officer, but bless his heart. Defense attorney's requested all uniforms and badges be banned so his client can get a fair trial. The client is William Morva, who is accused of killing Cpl. Eric Sutphin and Derrick McFarland, an un-armed hospital security guard. |

| Posted 8 months ago I experienced the same type of decision by the courts, and I must say it is very disheartening, and frustrating to not be able to show the kind of support that you feel you need to for a friend, and fallen officer. In my case I was a witness and I was told not to wear my uniform on the stand, not to wear a lapel pin in his honor and then I was berated by the defense attorney for getting a tattoo of my partner's badge number on my arm. |

| Posted 8 months ago When this piece of garbage cop-killer dies, and hopefully soon....he will face the worst judgement of all, and he will not be able to hide behind an attorney. Also, the next time the attorney needs an escort from the courtroom....I hope he hires private security.....we won't be available..... "Show class, have pride, and display character. | Posted 8 months ago This hits so close to home...I remember the day Cpl. Sutphin was killed. This whole community still grieves. I hope Morva rots in jail, I can't even stand seeing his face on the TV. His true judgment will come when he dies; revenge at the hands of God... |

| Posted 8 months ago The same thing happened here in Columbus. The federal judge banned all uniformed officers from the courtroom during the trial of the scumbag that killed Columbus Officer Bryan Hurst. Let's not remind the jury that police officer died so someone could feed their drug habit. Amazing! "You can't lead from behind" Gen'l James Longstreet, CSA |

| Posted 8 months ago The trial was moved to a more rural setting, salt of the earth type people who wave at the police with all their fingers. Being from an area much like that, I trust the closest thing to mountain justice will be the outcome. Jesus will have the final judgement but I'd like to see a swift meeting arranged. |

| Posted 8 months ago I can't believe the Judges allow half the motions filed in courts these days. Poor defendant. Wouldn't want to violate his civil rights now would we. Screw the victim, they don't need no rights. After all they are just victims. |

| Posted 8 months ago I feel like a weight has been lifted. I dont know that it's a good day but it is the only good to come out of Morva in two years. |

| Posted 8 months ago I watched the clip of the sentencing, and none of what I have to say can be printed, except that I wanted to smack that smile right off his face. Don't sweat the small stuff....you'll dehydrate |
