Does anyone know how to fix the curling that occurs at the bottom of your bulletproof vest? I know now that you aren't supposed to hang the vest so I will stop that practice but is there anyway to fix the curling that has already occurred?

Double check your size it might be too long. I have been hanging mine for my whole career and have had no problems.

If the curling becomes too serious you may need to replace your vest, the curling can cause the fibers to weaken and reduce the protection level of your vest.

I hang mine for the past 3 years and have no issues...... it sounds as if your vest is too long. Might want to check into buying a new one.

I thought most vest manufacturers said to replace a ballistic vest after 5 years of wear.

Always lay it flat when not in use (as the manufacturer states in the instructions).  Like others said, place something heavy and flat on top of the vest.  To prevent this from happening again, do not tighten the straps too tight.  Learned this from a vest salesman from Ray O'Herron's.

I used to have this problem, my solution was that on my days off I put the vest between my matress and box spring.  That seems to stop the issue.
