| Posted 2 months ago The Dams X-rays were not sent in to OFA as she was in heat already, however the Vet said the Hips looked Good. As for the sire being Fair, OFA is totally subjective, it all depends on who reads the x-rays that day. I did call and speak with Dr. Keller, the head of OFA, and asked him why he was rated Fair and was told that one socket was slightly shallow, hence the Fair rating. I do plan on redoing his OFA's in another year or so. Both of his parents were 0/0 on their hips. Beth |

| Posted 2 months ago Just a suggestion, I would get the hips re-done, and the Dams hips. I would not buy a dog with fair and unknown hips. If you get the Dams hips done, and the fair hips redone, I bet you will have much better luck. |

| Posted 2 months ago I have the dams x-rays here if someone wants to see them. But I also have enough confidence in the bloodlines behind my dogs that i give a 3 Yr Hip and Health Guarantee. You don't have to send the original dog back, just have it fixed and I will give you a replacement for free. Not many breeders will do that now a days.

| Posted about 1 month ago Most law enforcement really don't care all that much about pedigrees and what a dog's ancestors accomplished. In fact, most police trainers don't even buy puppies. Adult dogs can be given a physical, including x rays (which the smart ones do, regardless of guarentees). I buy dogs for what they can do for me, not where they come from.

| Posted about 1 month ago D Frost you gave me up! You right, most cops won’t take a chance on raising a puppy that might not come out. The other problem no ethical breeder would breed any dog before hip cert. is done. My first dog was a totally green 1 and 1/2 year old street rat (back in the days before we would buy them). | Posted about 1 month ago The puppy is doing tug work already at 17 weeks old. I had his Mother working on the bite sleeve yesterday. The dam came into heat early so that is the only reason her -rays were not submitted to OFA. I have reduced this pups price down to $500. The sires dam is an Explosives dog for the New Jersey DOT. The dam is also available for sale due to my health. She will bite, and she has extreme drives. I will try to get her X-rays scanned and put up on my website this week.
