Posted 3 months ago I'm currently looking to update our use of force report form for our department. I'm looking for a copy or reference guide to use when updating ours. If anyone has a copy they are willing to send, please let me know through email and we can go from there. Thanks and stay safe! |

| Posted 3 months ago When we recently updated some of our forms we contacted local agencies and then contacted the state training coordinator for input and recieved dozens of versions of what we were looking for. All were relevant to our state laws and came from simmilar agencies. It's odd that someone would come into a public forum and ask strangers for something that he can obtain with a couple of phone calls???? Or like Charlie914 suggested GOOGLE. |

I guess I'm not quite up to par on the forum ways of doing things as you are. I put my information in to be registered/verified after the first post from david_j9. | Posted 3 months ago Sorry, but if you are the person in charge of updating the policy, you should know all of this. It is a huge legal responsibility and should be done by someone with experience in these matters. You will have to contact your local DA, State Attorney General, or use the model policy provided by your State's certifying Law Enforcement Standards Board. I don't think we can help you here, based on the fact we are most likely not in your area. Contact another Officer by phone from another agency closeby and start brainstorming together....this is something that should be done in person. "Show class, have pride, and display character.
