| Posted 3 months ago I would check with LAPD, they have an outstanding Explorer program with a mini academy for their explorers. When I was an explorer their explorers would be almost impossible to beat in tactical scenarios etc... Look into them, I know that if you live in Florida, Miami Dade Police, has an 80 hour Explorer academy, and their academy is pretty neat and demanding, Best of luck |

| Posted 3 months ago The Richmond Police department has a good academy every year and our explorers place in the top three for every tactical competition. I have been through the academy twice now and each year it gets better. Less in class teaching more practical applications. |
