Hello Everyone, I was wondering if you could give some advice and tell me what to expect.

Next Thursday I have an oral interview with the County Sheriff’s Department for a deputy trainee position. I’m a bit nervous. Could you tell me what I should expect and some advice so I can be prepared for this? I’m a bit nervous. It’s a four person interview panel.
I appreciate the feedback.

sparky-

We have no way of knowing what type of questions will be asked, my experience is to tell you to be yourself answer each question truthfully and to the best of your ability and by all means "dress for success." This is when you have to "shine" so wear nice clean cloths and try to get a good nights sleep.

Good luck.

I had my interview today. I wore a suit and answered honesty and best to my ability. I was really nervous though. But they were smiling when they wrote down my answers. Is that a good sign?

Sounds as though your interview went well. At least they were smiling!

Well, I got my kiss off letter Saturday. I didn't make it. But I thank all of you for the encouragement. I really appreciate it.
