Weekend Vacation Ideas - Request

Posted 7 months ago OK, here's the dillema. Airfares are nuts right now and my wife and I are looking for a nice weekender to get away. We're coming from NE Ohio and want a 1-day drive to the best destination we can find. I'll take Niagara and the WV area casinos off the table, since we are aware of those (and may go there unless you give us a better idea). We have two boys (6&1) but would probably leave them with family. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 100 Years from now ..... all new people !! |

| Posted 6 months ago Well I have an Idea but Id definately say for this one to take the kids....You may or may not have ever gone here, but its called kalahri waterpark. Its in sandusky, ohio. http://www.kalahariresort.com/ <--heres the website... looks like a fun place! My little cousins who are 8 and 11 love it! | Posted 6 months ago Put in bay, South Bass Island, There are some places in Sugacreek Ohio. I know one is a bed and breakfast and owned by a retired cop. He gives LE a good rate. I guess it depends on what your into. This time of year theres allot going on all over... |

| Posted 6 months ago Kings Island in Cincinnati is a great place to go! When I lived over in West VA, it didn't take long to get there and the department I worked for had discount tickets.
