Posted 2 months ago This is vintage equipment at its finest. Gonzalez was an Los Angeles County Sheriff who made saps. There were made in three sizes; the 148 (smallest but gave a good whack), the 245 (definitely gets your attention) and the 187. The 187 was just too big to carry in your sap pocket. For those of you who remember, these are by far the best saps ever made. I have had this one for 26 years and it still looks new. I know they have not been made for many years now and are kind of a collectors item. So if you are interested, the price is 100.00 firm.
