| Posted 2 months ago The following pay rates are only for 2008-2009 for Telecommunicators. They will all change next year after a Cost of Living increase. Starting pay is $19.43 ($40,406) then Step 2 $20.57 ($42,783) Step 3 $21.71 ($45,159) Step 4 $22.85 ($47,536) Step 5 $24.00 ($49,913) Step 6 $25.14 ($52,290) Step 7 26.28 ($54,667) Step 8 $27.42 ($57,044) My rate is different since I am a Supervisor, but I am at Step 6 on the Supervisor step rate which is currently $31.10 (64,682) This is for TriCom Central Dispatch; dispatching for St Charles, Geneva, Batavia and Elburn Illinois. And we should be hiring one posisiton in the next 2 months or so.

| Posted 2 months ago I dont know all the steps but i was hired at $15.77 and we get a step raise every 6 months. After 2 1/2 years you reach top step which is currently $20.01, that should change soon as we are in contract negotiation. I work for Danvers MA combined police and fire dispatch. |

| Posted 2 months ago My office is probably the lowest paid anywhere in the country. When I started the starting pay was $6.00 an hour. I already had CJIN ceritifcation, and 911 school, I started at 6.25 I think. I have been there 9 years in November and I make 10.45 an hour. I also get .50 more for being the training officer. New dispatchers start at 7.50 an hour. There are raises for 6 months, 911 school, and CJIN certification. We're trying to get wages up but it's a never ending battle. | Posted 2 months ago Im pretty sure new dispatchers start at about $27,000 a year and can get up to 34,000. Then we get a 5% raise every year that you are employed here. I work and Navajo County SO in Holbrook AZ. |

| Posted 16 days ago Craven County NC....Starting apprx $26,000/year....add 2.4% for a one step increase and 4.8% for a two step (or promotion) Average yearly COLI is 3-4 % (we're getting 4% this year) As a civillian equivalent of Sgt this year I'm making a little over $31,000 this year (I started at $18,900 in 1997). Pizza Hut managers in our area make around $35k-$40k a year...no wonder we are having so much trouble hiring people! |

| Posted 8 days ago Starting pay, $8.50 then a .50 raise after the initial in-house training program and completion of Query certification (8-12 weeks). After they attend TBI's 40 hour class and complete the Basic certification, .50 more (classes are so full it is averaging taking 6 months to get them in). So basically, $9.50 after six months. After that, it is a 3% cost of living every year on their hire date. Sequatchie County, TN A woman is like a tea bag - You never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water. |
