Maybe men don't like that he can give them a bad name.  He's been happily married (to just one woman) for almost 30 years, treats his wife like a princess, is highly educated, makes millions of dollars a day, isn't afraid of what his peers (other men) think, and is tall and in good shape for his age.

Sure his show can be cheesy but you know all of you would do the same thing for his pay check.

Yes, that's kind of why I like him.  Sure, he's not perfect, but I like how he promotes family values.  Plus I like the Texas accent.

I have not watched him lately, so I don't know what he is like now.  I know I pretty much liked him at first and bought at least one of his books.

A while back, Oprah did a complete makeover of an apartment for a lady who was a pack-rat.....spent thousands on it.  Turns out, that lady has a son-in-law who plays in the NFL  - they could have done that for her.

Bottom line, Oprah is to blame....not Dr. Phil

I wish he would break away and start his own production company with Dr. Drew....maybe that would help.

By the way, I know Dr. Phil no longer is a licensed therapist, but he has a PhD...so technically, he should be called "Dr".

Dr. Drew Pinsky of Lovelines notoriety? That guy is the man! And he could whoop Dr. Phil's ass, lol.

I'm glad this thread was still here! I ate something that didn't agree with me, reading all this babble bullshit about Phil and Oprah was just what I needed to make me blow chunks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys
