Or ask any chief whose entire police operations budget could only afford a tenth of what they have on the shows. CSI must have raided every advertiser in Law Enforcement Technology. | Posted 2 months ago I agree with the CSI comment, however if people would just REALIZE that a lot of their methods aren't exactly how things are really done (I think they call the effect on juries the CSI effect) those shows are good for entertainment.... EXCEPT FOR.... CSI Miami....all that show does is make me want a pair of cool sunglasses and my own heavy metal theme song (Rock You Like a Hurricane!) that plays in the background as I make assinine observations and comments at crime scenes, traffic stops, barking dog calls.... Heh heh heh heh :D If you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them. |

Ah, that's not fair to the Detective Wagenbach, and Wims, along with the uniformed officers that make up 40% of the show. I think they are great characters, and really do some justice to outweigh what The Strike Team does. It's a very good show. I own all the seasons. |

| Posted 2 months ago How about " Armed and Famous"? I think it only lasted about 3 or 4 episodes. It was filmed in the county where I work, so it was kind of cool to see some people on it that I know. |

| Posted 2 months ago I confess that some of these I don't know about because I don't watch all that many TV shows anymore but yes the Shield is horrid! Makes us look like a bunch of criminal neanderthals! As for making us look just stupid, anyone remember CAR 54 where are you? Dumb.

| Posted 2 months ago In my opinion, those cops shows are good in their ways. Sometimes C.O.P.S is a little slow or just nothing big and sometimes is entertaining. I like watching them all because you learn and see stuff you dont see everyday; at least I dont. Did any one comment about RENO 911? That was a funny show ;) |

| Posted 2 months ago "The Shield" Absolutely disgusting display of criminal behavior by police, period. No redeeming value. CSI and it's clones are pure fantasy, but I've no problem with that in a television program. "C.O.P.S" should be standard academy video training in what NOT to do in police tactics. |

| Posted 2 months ago Without a doubt it was COP ROCK!!! My dog would hide if it came on TV, it hurt her ears so bad!! I always wondered why she'd run to the bathroom and cower by the john, until I put 2 and 2 together as she did this during lightning storms as well, the singing was as scary as the thunder!! LOL!! A second runner up in this category as worse would be SLEDGEHAMMER!!! The main character portrayed us all as gun crazed idiots and buffoons! I'm certainly glad you know the Chief of Police Sir!! At least you know somebody that can post your bail!!!! |
