No joke!... If I remember right an M1A1 takes 11 gallons to start! The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!

| Posted about 1 month ago They tried to field a re-engined hybrid HEMTT (a type of tactical all-terrain transport truck) in Germany last year. It was impressive because it got something like 7 miles to the gallon! I'm not sure how the vehicle worked out, but if the army isn't committed to it heart and mind, they are at least paying lip service to the concept. |
