Posted 2 months ago Does your department look down on you if you visit Bars/ clubs, and or strip clubs. Does you department have any policy on you going, either going or not going? |

| Posted 2 months ago We can go to bars/clubs, you don't carry your weapon for obvious reasons and you better not get in any fights or otherwise behave in a manner that would look bad on the Department! That being said, if me or any of the guys on my squad are going to do any drinking, we go to one anothers house and have our wives drive us. Also, we will get together with the boats and jet skis and go to the river and make a day of it! We don't take our fun out in public because it leaves room for someone talk trash about you! |

| Posted 2 months ago Policy doesn't allow us to go to a bar in the city where we work. Other than that, just use common sense. |

| Posted 2 months ago I try to stay out of bars and clubs. I will only visit an out of town bar if when hanging out with friends. The last time I was actually at a bar/night club was working off-duty jobs at one. Even then, the smoke filled, boozed charged environment doesn't appeal to me. Not to mention the loud music. |

| Posted 2 months ago We were shall we say 'discouraged' from drinking in public establishments. What we often did was go to one of the guys lake houses for a 'weekend' and have a party and fish, play cards, drink, swap stories, etc. |

| Posted 2 months ago Me and several of the guys visit a local establishment regularly. But I do not get drunk their and definitely do not cause a scene.

| Posted 2 months ago Where I work all, us and the surrounding departments are fairly small, so we tend to just hang out at each others homes for get togethers. No messing w/ drunks at the bar..We get together, tell jokes play cards, and have the occasional adult beverage. All thats is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. |
