| Posted 6 months ago My Department just switched to the 5.11 Tactical "Class B" outfit. It is MUCH more comfortable than the old polyester uniform. I expect and I accept that I will be challenged, threatened or attacked. When I am, I will make it impossible for the suspect to be successful. |

| Posted 6 months ago Polyester sucks. The shirts aren't so much of a big deal for me since I invested in Underarmor Heatgear/Coldgear undershirts. They fit like spandex, feel like silk, and keep you cool and dry all the time without annoying chafing and itching. Never feel the polyester shirt anymore. They come in long or short sleeves and are perfect under body armor. JMO. Downside: Last time I checked, Underarmor shirts are not fire resistant. As a matter of fact, they can melt to your skin. If you anticipate ever being too close to a burning building or car, you might not want to wear it. |

Our department wears the Blauer Streetgear. Super comfortable and easy to maintain. Quartermaster carries a line of "womens" uniforms that are cut just for the ladies. http://www.qmuniforms.com FORMERLY KNOWN AS wgipson1073.
