What is your strategy?
Posted 2 months ago This question is for the guys. With the multitude of chick-flicks coming out during the summer months,
What are your strategic plans and excuses?
Especially, how are you planning on getting out of going to see “Sex In The City” with your significant other?
Hurry! Time is running out.

Posted 2 months ago I got extremely lucky. I talked my wife's best female friend into going with her.

Posted 2 months ago I do not have a significant other, thus I should be pretty good.. Plus working and class ought to keep me clear.. My rule on chick flicks is simple, just say "NO.." When she insists, remind her that "NO MEANS NO.." I want to find the driver(s) at the front of the traffic jam and have their license(s) revoked. Then make them ride the bus until they promise never to hold the rest of us up again.

Posted 2 months ago Rex, I think you should actually go with her to "Sex in the City". I think that it will make for a nice evening later.

Posted 2 months ago My strategy was to find a fiance who likes action movies more then chick-flicks. She thinks the guys look like pansies in those movies. Life is not cherries. It's roses with thorns. It may sting getting to the prize but in the end it is worth it.

Hey guys, I appreciate all the PMs suggesting I should call in a bomb threat or commit arson in the movie theater the night before. The dumping of a body and turning it into a crime scene is a classic idea, but a little to risky for me. I was looking to reasonable suggestions.

Posted 2 months ago I'm by no means a click flick kind of person. Some are nice every so often. But Speed Racer just doesn't look the least bit interesting. "Justice is truth in action." -- Joseph Joubert

Posted 2 months ago Rex, My wife also doesn't like "chick flicks". Is she (your S/0) dead set on seeing the movie version of "Sex and the City", or would she consider waiting until it comes out on DVD when the cost of viewing it would be considerably less? That's too much like intelligence!!!

Posted 2 months ago Plain, simple and straight forward. I won't watch them! Plenty of other things to do like wash and wax the truck... "Don't tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results." - George S. Patton
