I doubt you'll get many responses to that question.  There are too many variables...why are you asking anyways?

Yeah, that is kind of an odd question for someone without any prior posts, and no other info regarding this one. Sniff sniff.....

You need to post more info if you want an answer.

Why do you want to know?  Also, the other officers are still waiting for your answers to their questions.

Please go to the "Introductions"  forum and introduce yourself.  That will be a good start.  Then, when asking questions, please be as specific as possible so reasonable answers can be given.  Thanks.

Well if I shoot someone, while off duty with my duty weapon, hopefully they will fall over and die instantly or bleed out quickly. Other than that they will handle it the same as when on duty.

I respectfully request Nikk and Henry be brought back as moderators please.

If anyone shoots someone regardless of which gun it is, they will either suffer a lot of pain or die or both.

They would get a case of "lead poisoning"?

If I shoot someone while off duty, then I will be acting as a officer and had to shoot someone. I say it will make the news and everything, I think my angency wouls stand behind me. For one, we are required to carry our off duty any way, we don't carry it for show!

BUMP! If that did not happen, it means I need to go to the range for more practice...

Despite the fact that the author of this question has left out a great deal of information to consider, my past experiance tells me that my department is prepared to stand behind me, given the fact that the circumstances surrounding the investigation that would inevitably occur, would show that I was justified in using deadly force in accordance with state law and within the department policy and procedures as approved by the chief of police.... WHEW!!!!!!!!!!
